Having stayed at hostels all through Europe and others in USA as well, I have to say this is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. It took us 15 minutes to even get into the building as there was no signage, the building looked awfully run down not at all like a hostel, neither of the buttons worked...

Here is our disturbing experience at this hostel: We were 2 girls travelling to DC and booked beds in the 6 person coed dorm in this cheap hostel which seemed to have good reviews. First when we arrived we had troubles finding the hostel because there was absolutely no sign on the front. We were welcomed by the host (nice...

The owner, Ron, was most welcoming and hospitable. He not only oriented me to DC, but also gave me tips on the best routes to walk. I stayed in a 2 persons room with its our bathroom and shower, plus a microwave, TV, and fridge. The bed was very comfortable, temperature of the room perfect. The kitchen was very small...

Worst hostel, the breakfast serves ceral. But you need your own milk. The rates change nightly, and the guy running the joint is a stingy old guy who over charged us. Also you’re treated like children as he threatens to kick you out if you have a drink. Not a hostel. So there was blood on the mattress protector. This...

This hostel looks really nice and is well located, we were able to visit almost everything by walk. The comfort is ok for this type of hostel and the welcome is very good. The guy at the front desk gave us some advice and tips to visit the city. I highly recommend this hostel for young people who are looking...

Felt very welcomed by the owner, who would go out of his way to make sure that we enjoyed DC by giving us recommendations on where to go and what to do. The rooms were spacious, clean and homely. definitely worth the price.

Very clean and well located hostel. Is not a five stars hotel but for the price I paid I was very satisfied. I stayed in the women 2 bed room and it was exactly what I need. The room was big, it has a private bathroom and the free breakfast is a bonus. Staff was very nice and helpful. I...

Really enjoyed my 2 nights stay here, front door and all rooms all have a security pin to get in. I was in the 4 bed female dorm with a private bathroom, lockers are huge I could fit 2 suitcases plus more, power outlets at each bed, tv, travel books and guides and also a discount pass for the local...

On arrival it's very difficult to recognise the building as a hostel, it is very run down looking from the outside and there are no signs whatsoever. Checking in was fine the owner was brilliant, he made us feel really welcome and talked us through the map in great detail, gave us lots of discount cards and even got us...

“2 or 4 beds rooms might be a better option as it is on a different floor as the kitchen, so would be quieter.”

“We spent the nights in a 6-bed-dorm, me other nice travellers; a small bathroom is directly nearby. Wi-Fi available ... and a lot of other details like free phone calls etc as in the hostel's description.”
