I am writing to express my appreciation for the quality of service at this hotel, specifically their concierge specialist Dorian who offered my husband and I the best customer service the days of my stay at the Wardman Park. My husband travels for business quite often, it's hard to keep busy while he's working. Dorian was knowledgeable of the area,...

I hope by the end if this latest visit to DC I may revise this review. This morning I went to check in with my prepaid reservation. I was told there were no rooms available and they had known for several they could not honor the reservation. Why wasn't I notified? I was offered a room NOT close by. I...

This Marriott has a great neighborhood of restaurants surrounding and nice grounds. Internet speed was fantastic. No indoor pool for kids but the outdoor looked nice for the summer. The metro stop is not "on-site" as they claim but is only a very short walk out the back door.

I was attending a professional meeting at the Waldman Park Marriott. I hadn't been there in over 10 years. I was so pleasantly surprised how nice it was on outside and inside. I'm told there was a total renovation about 2 yrs ago. The lobby is large, with many areas to relax, converse, sip coffee, watch TV, whatever. It was...

This hotel was excellent. We were in Washington with a group of high school students for a conference at the hotel. The location, staff and amenities were great The only negative is with a group of students the prices for any food or drink at the hotel was very high.

The room was nice and comfortable. I loved being able to open the windows and get fresh air. A few sirens at night, but not too bad. The hotel itself was really nice and quiet. I am SO grateful the lady who checked me in moved me to a room on the other side of the hotel so that I'd...

Location is perfect -- one block from the Metro Red Line, allowing a quick zip into DC downtown or up to Bethesda (where the great dining is). A few blocks from the National Zoo. Rooms are large and clean, fitness center is sizable with lots of equipment. One decent restaurant on site (Harry's Pub), a few other choices nearby (but...

This is a beautiful hotel, steps from a metro station and near the zoo. It is huge. The desk staff was very nice, a fine, clean room and housekeeping/service folks are just wonderful. But. The hotel was more than half empty--usually a good thing for guests. One restaurant was closed and the bar and the other restaurant had exorbitant drink...

Bed bug situation: I stayed three nights for an in-house conference. On the second morning, I woke up to a massive, painful bite on my left forearm. As I was getting ready, I found a bed bug crawling on top of the sheets. I trapped it under one of the heavy drink glasses and immediately called the manager on duty....

Dear SCSCSC11111- I apologize that your stay was less than excellent. Marriott cares greatly about every guest’s experience. We take hotel hygiene and sanitation very seriously. As a result, Marriott has established very strict standards of cleanliness for all its hotels that either meet or exceed public health department regulations, including pest control. In the unusual event we are made...

Excellent D.C. location near the national zoo and north of DuPont Circle, this is a humongous hotel. There are several towers of hundreds of rooms. Add to that, there are numerous meeting rooms, ballroom space and more. It's easy to get lost in the rambling hallways. The Stone's Throw restaurant had very good quality, but predictable food choices. Only problem...
