Spent 3 nights in the Washington Marriott Wardman Park as I was attending a convention in the same hotel. The public areas are super clean and modern and the location is convenient for the metro but there aren't a lot of restaurants withing walking distance. The rooms themselves are just OK, kind of on the small size and whilst everything...

Marriott has always been high on my list of favorite hotels. And although I don’t think I could ever afford to pay for regular room at the standard rate, (we were there for a convention) this hotel is no exception. Most impressive is its huge welcoming lobby, just as you would hope to see in the nation’s capital. Equally impressive...

It used to be you could trust Marriott to deliver really good value. Perhaps a convention hotel the size and age of the Wardman Park is beyond anyone's ability to manage. The prices are low but so should your expectations. Trying checking in quickly. No thats not going to happen because they have the minimum staff at the maximum busy...

The Marriott Wardman Park Hotel isn't my favorite Marriott, but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable hotel that is close enough to the National Mall and Memorial Parks, this is the hotel for you. The rooms are standard, clean but nothing special. The walls seem a little thin (or the person in the neighboring room just snored extremely...

Attended a conference here and stayed 3 nights in a standard king room. Hotel is older but the Room was clean and spacious. Only real complaint was the shower head was very low and despite being only 5'11", I had to really stoop in order to get under it. Internet service was expensive ($13/day) though comp'd if you were an...

I was here for a business conference and I thought that the facility was more than capable of hosting the event. The location is fantastic. There is a Metro station just steps from the property. The zoo is just minutes away and the row of restaurants down the street gives you plenty of dining options outside of the property. I...

I've stayed at the Marriott Wardman a few times and each time Im reminded about the fact that I just think its too big and too much walking for me personally. However, after staying a few times I've found it a little easier to navigate. This time I stayed in the Center Park Tower portion which was closer to our...

What a wonderful hotel and staff. Before we went to stay, I had reason to telephone regarding a room request. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Upon arrival the room requested was available, and we were greeted by a very friendly helpful guy on reception called David. When we got to our room it was perfect. Very clean and spacious, and...
