After reading so many negative TA reviews of this hotel -- I was to come here for a business meeting, with very quick turnaround from another in Boston. I was not looking forward to my two-night stay. Happily, I couldn't have been more misguided! Perhaps I was lucky enough to be in a different part of the hotel than others... More

This is the largest hotel in DC as far as convention space. There are quiet spaces all over the hotel yet when you want to socialize the bar is right there near the elevators and lobby. They have a nice little cafe where you can grab a coffee drink or light snack. The rooms are your standard rooms, most with... More

While this hotel was not as classy as some other Marriott hotels, having a somewhat faded splendor, it suited our needs. It is a vast complex, and being simple country folk, we did manage to get lost several times while looking for our rooms. We found the service at reception slightly indifferent at times, but the rooms were clean and... More

Stayed four nights at the conference rate of US$269 + a meaty US$39 tax per night. I'm a Marriott Gold member so was on the Concierge level (10) of the main central tower. The experience was fine. Room was not overly large and bathroom compact but i guess you expect that in city centers. Wifi was included in the rate... More

One block walk from the Red Line Woodley Park/National Zoo stop. Beautiful grounds, seasonal pool. Several restaurants to chose from inside and outside the hotel. Stayed on the Concierge Floor, which gave access to the Club Lounge. Nice spread for breakfast, and elegant cocktail reception in the evening. Room was nicely furnished, linens were good quality.

Let me start with the service at the front desk. We were handed the room key, and when we asked for the parking, we were told to go left to find it. We did that, found a small parking space with great difficulty, got into the elevator and reached our floor, the 7th. Went through the whole corridor but there... More

Stayed at the Marriott Washington Wardman Park October 20 - 23, 2013. The hotel is in a great location for food, metro, coffee shops, and 15 min to the downtown attractions. It is a three min walk to the National Zoo. The hotel could focus a little more on the lobby area the furniture appears to be a little dated.... More

I wrote a praising review of this hotel's sleeping room (and their having electrical outlets by the desk and bedside). Well, their conference experience is horrendous. We ordered the highest level of Internet for our 200+ attendees. There wasn't enough bandwidth for that many people, and then the Internet service (wired and wireless) went down for the hotel. The hotel's... More

I wanted to like this hotel, I really did. But I wish I would have paid attention to the reviews.... First for the good points: I got this hotel room bidding through priceline. For the price I paid, I got what I paid for. However I feel bad for the people who paid full price. The location is wonderful. The... More

While the Marriott Washington Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC is a behemoth hotel (I can hardly find my way back to my room), it has two great things going for it: (1) multiple electrical outlets within easy reach of the desk and (2) multiple electrical outlets within easy reach of the bedside table.
