This was my first time staying at a Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and I was very impressed. Extremely friendly staff and very accommodating. Amy at the Front Desk, the wait staff, and door persons were all amazing. Top Notch!

We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in March 2017. The location is walking distance to the Smithsonian. You can walk anywhere safely, but it depends on how much you like to walk. The Jefferson Memorial is only 1/2 mile away. The club lounge in this hotel is one of the best. There are excellent food choices and plenty of space...

I spent 3 nights in feb this year with my partner and had an amazing time. The service was great and the hotel facilities very convenient. Loved the pool. I had an upgrade to a suite with a balcony and views to the Pentagone, from where I could see the Presidential Helicopter flying just a few hundred meters away every...

The property is nice, wished for a bit more for the price of the room. I had an excellent view of the water, but there is a lot of traffic and it was loud. The restaurant was my biggest disappointment as most things on the menu were really overpriced and the food at least what I tasted was mediocre and...

The room was spotless and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is, overall, an excellent hotel, but I do have a few quips. First, internet is $12 per day. They waived the fee when I called, but some folks won't have the nerve to ask. I don't understand why internet is free at every midrange hotel I stay...

Stayed for Spring Break holiday. This hotel is within walking distance of the Mall and the Tidal Basin. Everything else you will want to take an Uber or the Metro station at the Mall, 3 blocks away. There is a Starbucks, a CVS (limited hours), a sandwich place and a pizza place nearby. Other than that, there is nothing near...

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel for business and I continue to enjoy it very much. The hotel is lovely. The service is high quality and the rooms are extremely comfortable, clean and elegant. The bed is like sleeping in a cloud. My room had a great view of the Washington monument which is only...

This hotel has 5-Star service and all the employees are on-board with the mentality and treat every guest like rock-stars. The rooms are top of the line finishes and all the lighting is touch based with controls all over to easily change ambiance. The shower is amazing and the temperature and pressure can be adjusted separately. The hotel is a...

I attended a fairly large professional conference at the Washington Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The hotel provided excellent support for the conference. On the personal side, the hotel room and services were also excellent. It is not inexpensive, but I though it provided good value for a luxury hotel.

Excellent service and very comfortable lounge. So nice to have a relaxed breakfast with excellent coffee. Shrimp dumplings were excellent as were the coconut cookies. Our room was lovely with a particularly luxe bathroom. We'll be back.
