We stayed here for a four day conference. Check in was smooth, and I loved the tea and towels offered to us. Our room was fine. The bathroom was very large and luxurious, having both a soaking tub and walk in shower. Our view looked directly at another building, but we literally just slept here so it didn't matter. The...

Lovely hotel based in DC. This was a great place to be at a conference as it is very luxurious and has the capacity to have a large group. The hotel seems out of the way but it is a very nice hotel for an event. Lovely public spaces. Bathrooms are large with separate shower and bathtub.

The Mandarin in DC met all of our expectations and provided a convenient and comfortable place to call a temporary home. The staff was attentive and friendly. Some of the aspects of the hotel that separate it from other hotels in DC include a very nicely appointed, large bathroom in the room, a fantastic pool and fitness center, and its...

I'll start this review how I start all my reviews... I travel for work. I stay in over 100 hotels annually and over 1,000 in total so far. I've stayed in everything from the highest end hotels, to boutiques and mid level chains. I've seen the gamut and have pretty realistic expectations of what to expect from a property. I...

We had a 1 bedroom suite. Everything was nicely done in the room. It was great for my trip with my 13 year old son. He could stay up or sleep in and we had plenty of space. Location of the hotel is near Smithsonian and monuments. I enjoyed long runs/walks each morning around all the momunents. The spa, workout...

Stayed here 10 yrs ago & got engaged on the balcony of room 919, so tried to relive the moment. MO got the room right, but that was about it. When you arrive, Bellmen/Porters stand back & stare @ you while you struggle out of your car. This would never happen @ any other 5-Star hotel! The doors are opened...

We held our wedding reception at the Mandarin Oriental. The staff were fabulous through the whole process, from the minute we walked in off the street, without an appointment, with an enquiry. Planning was thorough and took all our needs into account. The actual reception - welcome for our guests; food; facilities; staff - were all excellent. The suite we...

This is a superb hotel in all ways--service, rooms, lounge, etc. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Beds are great and rooms are clean, clean, clean! Extra bonus--the best water pressure I've ever had in any hotel shower! And, don't forget to watch the advertisement video that will be playing in your room when you first enter...it's absolutely great...so artistic...

I travel frequently - mostly for business - but have never stayed at a Mandarin Oriental property before. That said, I won't likely consider another Mandarin Oriental property again based on my experience at this hotel in October of 2015. Upon arrival on a Sunday afternoon, I was told there were no rooms available with king beds. I had reserved...

The hotel is simply one of the best Ive ever stayed at. The location is simple to get to, it makes getting in and out of D.C. super easy. The staff are very nice and helpful. They even arranged to have my tickets for the game delivered to me after I forgot them in the room. Definitely the best hotel...
