My room, the Chocolate Room, was very spacious, comfortable and clean and John was very accommodating and friendly. The Continental Breakfast had many good choices and there was much information available in the entry room. The only thing I would suggest would be to ask the laundry service to soften the towels and add brighter lighting in the bathroom. With...

This was a great place to stay and really accommodating owners. Would have preferred to be in one of the others rooms but they weren't available for the five nights we stayed. The room we had was was a bit shabby in parts and the 'attention to detail of cleaning' was not up to my standard of cleanliness, ie edges...

Went to DC for Jon Stewart's Sanity Rally and picked Meridian Manor for price and location. What a treat. I and a friend stayed in the Yellow Room on the fourth floor to save some bucks. Nice large common area on the 4th floor, too. Shared bath was off this room, but I never saw the other guests sharing it....

We loved how comfortable it was staying here. You felt at home. John was very kind and provided many suggestions. It was very clean and practical. The metro is 3 blocks away. There was tons of information in the lobby area about local attractions which helped us with our trip quite a bit. We stayed in the yellow room for...

My group of 6 families with children were meeting in Washington, D.C. for our college reunion (3 nights). We were so lucky to have found the Meridian Manor! Not only was the house a perfect fit for the size of our families, it was also very clean and beautifully renovated by the owners. The host, John, was very nice, always...

I stayed at Meridian Manor for three days in June and had a lovely time. The location of the B&B is absolutely fantastic, in a really funky neighbourhood and within walking distance of Dupont and with good access to the Metro. John is a wonderful host and the breakfast is fabulous. This is definitely where I'll be staying next time.

We stayed in the Chocolate room and were totally impressed with how spacious it was. John was a great host. It was the best bed and breakfast we've stayed in. The room fronted 16th street so was a bit noisy. I think we would stay in the Slate room next time. The only downside was that as we left to...

It was our first visit to the city and it was a great trip starting with Meridan Manor B&B. It was everything we expected and much more. The location is practically perfect and John could not make us feel more welcome. We loved the city and planned to come again and will definitely try to stay in this place again!

My wife and I had an excellent stay for 5 days at Meridian Manor. We were in town for our son's graduation. The place is clean and quite charming. Our room was spacious and we enjoyed the dual washing sinks! Fronting onto 16th St., it was a bit noisy at night, but not terrible. We were able to park our...
