The room was lovely. Very clean and inviting. The only downside was that there was no tub, only a shower. Great restaurant on the premises, and also reasonable. Guests also received a discount on lunch and dinner.

Thank you for your choosing The Georgetown Inn for your most recent visit to Georgetown and Washington, DC! We are pleased that your visit was an overall success! What a great location for a one-of-a-kind Georgetown experience. As you know from your own experience, the exclusive Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC surrounds you with historic and pre-revolutionary homes, high-end shopping,...

A few miles outside central Washington is the delightful Georgetown. It's a relatively easy MetroBus ride away from the centre (your Metro SmartCard is valid) and well worth the trip. Quaint Georgetown boasts a great number of shops and restaurants. There's a canal and a river front to visit - it's not accessible by train. We had lunch in the...

We stayed here during a college visit to Georgetown in March. It is a great location, walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and the university. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The price is right, around $200, vs $500 plus at the Ritz and Four Seasons (which are also much farther away). So, yes, it could use an update, but...

Scuffed, nicked, stained, fingerprints...the public areas need some help. The room was nice enough, but dated. The staff seemed new to the business: "How to get to the airport by public transit?" "Only by cab." Correct Answer: Metro to Shuttle. Breakfast menu gouges; bar and restaurant have diner-like charm. Great location if you have to be in Georgetown...but there are...

Old world charm or 50 year old hotel that hasn't been updated since it was built? I'd go with the latter. There's nothing wrong with it really, it's just that it's incredibly out of date and creaky. The room furniture the bathrooms, the bar....they're all in a bit of a time warp. It's such a shame because it's in a...

A bit dated but clean rooms in a GREAT location, no charge for valet parking (a $40+ value in the DC area) and a good restaurant on site. However free Wi-Fi needed a bigger pipe as service was so-so (or not available) as service was undersized -- I couldn't get my SiriusXM to connect. However, all things considered, I would...

Spent three nights here visiting schools with my daughter. We arrived late and were given a room on the fifth floor. The bathroom needed a remodel. There is a wonderful consistency to the Georgetown Inn that is always appreciated. The front desk staff are always welcoming and helpful and the rooms comfortable. The Daily Grill has great food. And the location in the heart of Georgetown is a real bonus. Easy to walk along Wisconsin or just a block or so to M Street.

The Georgetown Inn is in a great location. The service is friendly and very good. The restaurant is also good and convenient with good service.
