This hotel is true gem. Extremely hospitable staff- Fifi, Charles the doorman, housekeeping staff - all the staff went above and beyond. Although city was busy with groups and tours coming and going, this hotel's staff handled every request professionally. With its great location to key areas near the Capitol, it is perfect weekday and weekend hotel. Tom Harwell

This is a very convenient place for those of us who travel to Washington by train -- you can walk right past the long taxi lines at Union Station, and be at the Phoenix Park in minutes. It is also wonderful to have the Dubliner restaurant just an elevator ride away. You can get to most key sights in Washington...

Thank you for your visit and sharing your comments. We have tried to incorporate as many positive aspects into our new design and to maximize our cozy room space. We realize that design preferences are very personal and sorry the new look is not to your liking. We have created a new 2nd floor guest Living Room with gourmet coffee,...

Husband and I stayed overnight during an impromptu sightseeing trip. Upon check in there was an issue with our reservation as it was done through Tripadvisor. The staff was very helpful and all was eventually straightened out. The location is great and we had a cool view of Union Station. The hotel is freshly renovated. The bed was comfy and...

Thank you for your visit and sharing your comments. Our rooms vary in size but are not large as we often state on here. As you had one of our Union Station views on the front of the hotel facing North Capitol St, those rooms have wonderful views but are not large. We do have larger rooms in other parts...

I have stayed in this hotel numerous times over the past 7 years. Each time I am impressed with the staff and the comforts of the hotel. The remodeling kept the charm of the hotel while updating all the conveniences. The Dubliner Pub is one of my favorites in D.C.

I will always stay here each time I come to D.C. It was here, where your staff took of me on the darkest day in America. 911. Y'all were magnificent and I will never forget how I was treated. Everyone took extra care to see that we all made it through the night as the Trade Towers fell and the...

This hotel is outstanding on all levels. The location is ideal, the rooms are incredible and most of all the staff is world class. My wife and daughter spent a few days here to attend a concert and explore several museums while in town. They rode the train up and easily walked from the station to the hotel and then...

Loved this hotel! Rooms nicely appointed, staff courteous and helpful, and location is PERFECT. The Dubliner, famous Irish Pub, located next door has great food and great beer; however, the music talent could be heard inside room so if you dont like Irish folk music, maybe not the best place for you. (Didnt bother me at all) I always like...

We stayed here for two nights in May last year and we really enjoyed it. The location near Union Station is great, just a few minutes walk to your train. The room was excellent with nice soft beds and a great view. We ordered room service on the first night and I had the Irish Beef Stew and it tasted...

Hotel is very convenient to Union Station and the Capitol. It was recently remodeled and the food is great, especially the fish and chips. A wonderful Irish bar is attached. The rooms and elevators are on the small side, reminiscent of a bygone era.

I picked Phoenix Park Hotel after an online search based on location and AAA discount. Perfect choice. I love everything about it. When I checked in, the woman at the front desk was the friendliest, most helpful of any person at any hotel I've ever stayed at. Love the decor. Slept well. Also loved the Dubliner restaurant. Very happy with...
