Sure, the closet was partially blocked, and the toilet was oddly placed, and the free breakfast was minimal, and a couple of holes could have used some spackle. But the location was excellent (walking distance to U Street restaurants), the price was awesome, and the innkeeper (the one with the French accent) had great tips for nearby eats (Keren, a...

Absolutely horrible! Made the mistake of booking a room here via booking.com. On the booking website it didn't state that there was no parking provided. Upon entering to talk to the gentleman that worked there I was absolutely disgusted by the pungent smell. The place smells like a dirty litter box that hasn't been cleaned in days. We immediately asked...

Had a worst experience, no internet in most of the rooms , you need to come in lobby to work on wifi . Less staff to guide you or help you . Rooms are small .Lobby is ok . Charging just because of the prime place , would NOT recommend at all .

I spent three nights at the Windsor Inn. There's a lot not to like about this place, but somehow it was better than the sum of its parts. Pros: Very good location. 16th near Swann in NW. This is close to the U Street commercial corridor and moderate/short walk to Adams Morgan and to the business areas around Dupont Circle....

Pros: Location Great friendly staff Cons: I was expecting a queen or king sized bed instead I was met by to twin beds that couldnt even be pulled together. No view Window AC unit Doors war so abnoxiously loud when open and closing they use a real key so they ask you to leave at the front desk in case...

OK! Let's face it. This place could be much better with a bit of effort - talking about general aspect here. The bright is that this Inn is very well located, with a lot to do within reachable (walking) distances - special mention for the White House. We got lucky as well cause the gentleman at the front desk gave...

The person behind the counter was very helpful and the hotel was very well presented with alot of character. From the pet cat to the painting in the hallway near my room. Would definitely come back again.

I booked this hotel because of the price and the location. Both of these aspects are great! However, if you are expecting a 5 star quality then do not book this hotel. Pros: Clean, Safe, Location, Price, Free Wifi and the staff is very helpful Cons: The building is old so there is damage to the rooms but nothing that...

I booked on Booking.com for one night due to location of my business while in DC. I did know it was a no cancellation policy but had solidified my business meetings so felt comfortable with that. Unfortunately, both my meetings which brought me to DC cancelled. I called the hotel, spoke to two people including Jamie who was in charge....

When I read some of the negative reviews I was a little concerned. However, my experience was a very pleasant surprise given that this is a 2 star hotel. I having nothing bad to say about this hotel. The front of house ,Jamie (from France) was interesting, enthusiastic and full of useful information (good local restaurants, transport etc). The rooms are basic...
