Late Friday night arrival for 3 day weekend stay, top floor room with view, fancy bathroom and mini fridge, everything looks brand new and spotless. Valerie in the M Club is the superstar host of breakfast, she is one of the best in entire Marriott...More
Second time stayed here. Like many hotels in and around DC, parking is an issue and is very expensive. Here it is $49 a night. There was confusion as to whether less expensive self park was available, but it is not. Only valet at the...More
I attended a conference at the hotel. The rooms were nicely appointed and the conference facilities were perfect for a small to medium sized group. I was able to walk to attractions and very good restaurants.
This hotel has been updated, with clean and comfortable rooms. Modern bath, comfortable beds. Good location in Georgetown with easy access to the metro, restaurants, and shopping. Good restaurant located right off the lobby. One quirk was that the restaurant doesn't have the same menu...More
My favorite hotel in DC. Wonderful staff in every department. Rooms are clean, up-to-date, and spacious. M Club is fabulous. Absolutely the best part of the stay. Having just come from New York and a hotel with a mediocre elite lounge, this was really special....More

Perhaps it depends on the room you get. The AC vents in my room were on the wall, but close to the ceiling. I stayed in a room with a two double beds and the bed closest to the vent did get more cooling air than the bed further away.
Now that I think about it, I remember thinking that the AC lacked subtlety. It would blast cold air until the desired temperature was reached. It would blast every 10 minutes or so for about a minute or two at a time instead staying on at a lower but constant speed.
Honestly, it didn't detract from my stay here as I didn't even think to bring up the AC in my full review. I stayed here for four nights.
Hope that helps!
