I am so glad I found this hotel. It was a day between meetings and I had to switch locations so I had a day to myself. The property is elegant, modern and refined. The staff were attentive but not overbearing. It has an outstanding restaurant where I ate both lunch and dinner. I was in the restaurant for lunch...

A great, historical hotel in the middle of DC. Convenient location and great feel. My room was next to the lobby. A little noisy but not too bad. Shower was weird. Door opened onto the shower head and did not drain well. Room was cozy.

I wanted very much to love this hotel, but in the end, it was a bit disappointing. My wife and I stayed here for three nights while on vacation in the DC area. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the National Mall and reasonable price. First, from our limited interactions with the staff, they seemed very friendly....

Stayed for one night and despite its relatively small size it was very nice - cozy and romantic. Modern amenities and the front lobby is very hip and cool. Room was in the renovated? historic side. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance.

Stayed here for three nights for a visit to Washington. Hotel is in a good location providing walking is not a problem or happy to use cabs etc. The hotel is very comfortable and has a very nice restaurant serving great food. The hotel is quite modern but nicely furnished. I would recommend.

My husband and I stayed at the Morrison Clark for our anniversary in October. We had a small issue when checking in as the door to our assigned room wouldn't open. It the staff immediately upgraded us to a Suite and handled the problem. Our stay was great, the restaurant was good and the location was great for us. We...

This hotel has really pretty rooms and a lovley staff. The work out room is small but will do for a little work out while you stay. The rooms are nice, and the beds feel good. Though, the shower we had was a dissapointment. And we really had trouble streaming everything while we ere there. We had breakfast at the...

Tired of the intensity and size of the Marriott Marquis and the other cloned major hotels? 2 blocks from the convention center is a simple elegant hotel--2 former mansions converted into this historic inn, with a reasonably priced restaurant and lobby bar; historic restored façade, with modern nicely appointed rooms within, spacious indoor and outdoor sitting rooms; just beware of...

Our son, who lives just round the corner from this hotel, suggested we try it and have now had two very successful stays. This time we got what I think was a disabled room and it was spacious and comfortable with a big shower room - Room 507. Very central. Lots of character. Friendly staff. The breakfasts were pricey compared...
