Perfect location in quiet neighborhood. Very much a boutique style hotel. Our room was a bit tight in terms of space especially in the bath but was otherwise lovely. Beds were comfortable, bath was gorgeous. Large closet but no dresser. In room espresso & bottled water (complimentary) plus fridge & a safe.

We had a great weekend staying at this little boutique hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have a nice happy hour everyday with wine and cheese and crackers. Close to the monuments and DuPont Circle.

The Normandy Hotel is one of those secret boutique hotels hidden in one of the best neighborhoods in the city. (Obama and Ivanka's neighborhood.) It is nestled among the residential townhomes, not very big in size or amenities, but nicely decorated, clean and has a charming patio area out front. I don't now if the hotel is new or old,...

Stayed at the Normandy for two nights for a meeting that was being held at another hotel around the block. Much more affordable and beautiful than any chain hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and they even offer wine and cheese hour. Always felt great coming back to this hotel. Bed was comfortable and loved the nespresso. Everything was...

If you are the kind of traveler who would prefer to feel more like a local than a tourist, you will find the Normandy a delight. The small hotel is tucked into a neighborhood just off Connecticut Avenue. It has valet parking, a continental breakfast ($12), and a free wine hour. The staff were attentive and gracious without being excessive,...

This is not your "typical" hotel, and I say that in the best way possible. it is quite small, very friendly, great value for the location and amenities offered. Walking distance to Dupont Circle; it is in the very fashionable Kalorama neighborhood. Also quite close to METRO station.

What a wonderful experience! The Normandy is a smaller hotel nestled in a neighborhood very near lots of great restaurants and shops. I only stayed a night in this small hotel, in the north section of DuPont Circle. “Rooms are smaller, but comfortable. Bathrooms are completely new. Bar fridge in room. Great AC. Quiet rooms. Great neighborhood. Staff is SUPERB and very accommodating. Nice continental breakfast available for $12. Cold bottled water always available at front desk. Complimentary coffee and fruit all day. Free wine and cheese for daily happy hour. Would highly recommend and would request next year for conference.”

“You need to be creative with electrical outlets. My room had the large-screen TV right over the desk, making it impossible to fully use the desk. There are numerous outmoded switches near the bed that don't seem to control anything. Hotel could use a complete electrical upgrade, but that is the only drawback.”
