Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
The Washington Plaza Hotel comes highly recommended for its cleanliness and well-maintained rooms, according to most travelers. While the rooms' size and modernity receive mixed reviews, the staff's attentiveness frequently earns praise. Guests enjoy the hotel's amenities, especially the dining options and pool area. Its prime DC location is a hit for ease of access to attractions and dining. The retro charm contributes to a welcoming atmosphere, despite some views of the decor as outdated. Service is applauded, though opinions on value diverge with some concerns over costs.

Very lovely hotel! We booked last minute due to being tired from driving more than 10 hours, and the staff was nothing short than kind, respectful and professional. From the moment I called to ask questions to leaving, Treasure and the team were amazing. Treasure made sure that we were taken care of the entire stay, especially since we were there to attend a funeral. Kellisha, the amazing Jamaican queen who worked in the International Lounge was amazing as well. She was knowledgeable, caring and the food was impeccable. I now understand why this hotel has received amazing reviews. It is charming, quiet, comfortable, clean and upscale vintage. The overall quality was beyond extraordinary! I would highly recommend this hotel to any and everyone looking for a phenomenal place to stay in the D.C area. Thank you to everyone who assisted us while we were staying at your amazing hotel. All the reviews are definitely true, everything was exceptional. We will definitely be back, prayerfully not under sad circumstances, but for a much needed vacation.

Very comfortable rooms, shower good quality. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Gym area small but handy for a short trip. Are at the restaurant one night which was very nice and very reasonably priced. Very clean. Tv in the room was a little dated and tricky to use, but not that much of an issue.

Our room was very nice and had just been renovated. There were parts of the hotel that indeed seemed dated but it seems they've gotten the message and are spiffing it up. Staff was super nice. Location is fantastic...walkable to most things.

A great hotel experience starts with the people. I commend Treasure for consistent hi-quality service when I check in and check out. And her sister, Niasha, created a comfortable dining experience during my stay. My room was well-appointed and spacious. I look forward to my next stay at Washington Plaza.

Decided to stay to avoid having to drive home after a late night work function. I couldn't have asked for better experience. The hotel was very clean, check-in was a breeze and all of the staff were incredibly friendly, including my housekeeper AnneMarie! Had a room with a balcony on the 4th floor overlooking the pool. - and although it was too cold this trip, I'm already thinking about planning a staycation in the future so I can sit out on the balcony and take in the sites and sounds of this centrally located hotel.
