This is hands down the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. I've stayed in countless big city hotels and have never had such a terrible experience trying to sleep. Our toddler has been unable to nap or sleep through the night since we've been here- it is truly jarring when anyone above, below, or down the hall opens or...

Great location as you can walk to so many places, downtown. But the staff was crabby, escalators did not work to the lower level conference area and the security had to be called 3 times to quiet down a party room next door at 1:30 a.m.. Did I mention how thin the walls are? Not a pleasant experience.

Big modern hotel with all the necessary amenities. Rooms were spacious and clean. A short walk to the convention center. Lobby was expansive, classy lobby bar. A handy snack market and Starbucks on site.

This is a very large hotel with many amenities available to guests. The rooms are clean, well appointed, and comfortable for a long or short stay. The gym and spa are among the best I have come across in my hotel stays. The gym was large with many pieces of cardio equipment and an impressive strength area. It was also...

This is a very large hotel but still manages to make you feel like an individual and not just a room number. The location is very good for access to the downtown businesses and sightseeing spots. It's a Marriott, so it is clean, well run, and responsive to your needs. Room rates can swing significantly dependent on what conferences are...

We stayed at the Renaissance over the Thanksgiving holidays. The room was spacious with lots of lighting giving it a very welcoming feeling, the beds were comfy, housekeeping did a wonderful job... what more can I wish for? This was our first time staying at a Marriott (not sure this was just an acquisition or a "true" Marriott), but if...

Comfy beds, nice bathrooms, everything I expect from a Renaissance. The elevators here are very inefficient and quite a nuisance (could use an upgrade). The front desk is friendly and the hotel lobby is extravagant - lots of places to sit and relax and get work done.

This hotel chain I know how high-quality and comfortable. But this hotel was not very high quality. It is located in the center, to the White House about 15-minute walk. Around a lot of paid parking, which is free on weekends. Beds in the room comfortable. The room has a coffee maker. There are no robes or slippers. For coffee...

I would love to rate this as 4.5 stars. It is great in lots of dimensions and is a good alternative to the JW Marriott or Willard Intercontinental just a short distance way. Check-in was great—the clerk was friendliest and most efficient I have seen and I felt very welcomed as a gold member. I wish I remembered his name....
