The Renaissance is the classy hotel by far. Not only are the attendants helpful, but everyone has style and grace, and in DC lately that is needed. The check in staff was by far superb. They are friendly, accommodating, and for those who don't like the DMV stiffness they are professional with a sense of reality. We thoroughly enjoyed our...

Five of us made reservations at this hotel for the night of the Women's March (Jan 21, 2017). Although the room was expensive, it was better than so many other hotels in DC that weekend, which was also the inauguration weekend. The entire staff was incredible, from the parking attendant, to the front desk personnel, to the cleaning staff, etc....

We stayed here for 3 nights during the inauguration and it was a good choice as well as paying for it with points so it did not cost me anything except $45/night to park the car we never saw while we were there! I don't know what rooms others stayed in but we were across the hall from a bank...

This hotel has everything you would expect from the Renaissance. Comfortable and modern rooms, exceptional service and a bar with great drinks. The only drawback was the Executive Lounge for Marriott rewards members. It is an ample room but the breakfast that was served was deficient and very mundane. I felt I was having breakfast at the economy brand hotels...

Very nice facility. This hotel is impeccably clean - including meeting space, lobby, and the guest rooms. The lobby is very large with excellent seating capacity with numerous private areas to meet with friends, family or co-workers. The room was newly renovated and nicely appointed. Free Wi-fi worked well (though I had to make a special trip to front desk...

I've never before paid so much to receive so little. At $400/night, you will still not receive shampoo, conditioner, or any bottled water in your room. We called down for some toiletries and it took an hour for them to be brought to our room. Our room was also missing a "do not disturb" sign -- we had to ask...

Stayed here while on assignment to cover Trump inauguration - was very happy with the room and the location. Comfortable king sized bed, nice recliner chair, big TV, mini fridge in room and nice chocolates left on pillow several nights in a row (likely for the Inauguration). Hotel has a Starbucks in the lobby (!!!) which is awesome and opened...

We paid over $1,000 per night and felt totally ripped off. In all my years of traveling I have NEVER had room service delivered in plastic and cardboard containers with only flimsy plastic utensils. It was also the first time that ANY room service has ever REFUSED a request to bring a bowl or bucket of ice with a dinner...

Stayed at the Renaissance for the inauguration. Rooms were expensive. The bed was not comfortable and my wife and I had difficulty sleeping. Also, the room was up against the elevator shaft so I would hear the cables from the elevator in the middle of the night. The room service was pretty good, except we kept asking for a decaf...
