Wonderful stay! I have found my new go-to DC hotel. The inn is very close to the subway, making it easy for me to get around the city. The rooms are spacious and include kitchens with most everything you need. The staff was fantastic! Dave checked us in when we arrived and he seemed to always be around with a...

I was a chaperone for my daughter's 8th grade class trip to DC of 49 people. We stayed at The River Inn for 3 nights and I have no complaints. The room was very spacious and slept 6 of us without being cramped. There is a bedroom with 2 queen beds that has a door and and be closed off...

The staff is very nice and attentive. The room accommodations were outstanding. Enjoyed the kitchenette. The only minor problem was the AC didn't work. The second night we left the window open and the neighborhood was very loud, domestic fight or party. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

This is a wonderful residential style hotel conveniently located near the Kennedy Center. In fact, it is conveniently located to many places -- George Washington University, Georgetown, and several of the museums. My husband and I are both serious walkers, and we easily walked to the Phillips Collection as well as to the USHMM. But our reason for selecting this...

Went for a weekend trip to the Washington Mall and wanted something close. Pleasantly surprised by this hotel in a residential neighborhood. Felt very safe and it was close to everything. Got in late and was greeted by the great night staff Kimberly and Monique. They were both sooooo helpful, friendly and professional. Everyone there was, from the doorman to...

I arrived late for a single night stay. Check-in was painfully slow. The room was cute, with a bed, bath, couch, desk and small kitchen. It was chilly when I entered, so I turned up the thermostat. The fan blew cool air. There was no extra blanket. The front desk staff said that because it had been warm during the...

First impressions were excellent, with a warm and friendly welcome from the staff on check-in. I was expecting a standard sized room but was delighted with an apartment with a good size room and small, well equipped kitchen. WiFi was free and efficient. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants and the metro and if you like walking central Washington....

I went there with a group of friends. We got a large suite. It had a huge living/dining room (with a sofa bed), small kitchenette, bedroom with two double beds, small but cute bathroom. First impressions- looked Ok. It needed some updates but was fine for our needs. The fire alarm went off at 5:30am while we were there. Everyone...

My wife and two children stayed here in early January. From the moment of arrival the front desk staff were so helpful and friendly. Kimberly could not do enough for us and made us feel like we were staying in a private home. When I met Neal, the manager, I understood why the staff were so great as he was...
