The location is good, walking distance to everything. Rooftop bar is hopping, loud and crazy! The rooms seem to be undergoing renovations- some items are brand new and others still need rehabbing ie bathroom fixtures look new but wallpaper pulling away from wall in some places. New appliances but old mattress. Main complaint no place in bathroom to put stuff-old...

We stayed there in August 2013, they are still under renovation that means that you walk on the dusty mats in a corridor and have to listen to the noises of reparation from somewhere. We booked a luxury room that happened to be a big room with a king size bed, however it doesn't have a fridge and a bar...

Cons: Mosquitoes in the main lobby area, there was not an attendant available every time to open the doors, greet you or get your car. Parties every Friday to Sunday until 1am. If you are staying on a higher floor (which is more expensive) you have to hear music and partying until early into the morning. Completely unacceptable for the...

This hotel is really great. The rooms are very clean and there is plenty of space with all comfort. Arriving and hearing some classical music at the background from the local classical music radio station is really the max. The hotel is well positioned in the hart of DC. The restaurant is also excellent. This was a great experience and...

Unfortunately they were renovating the Hotel when I was there, which made walking down the hallways unpleasant. Walking on plastic mats was not on. The Hotel does need an over haul. For the price its not worth it. 35 USD for parking a day is a complete rip off. Wifi is not free. The rooms are old. Still the classic...

Pricing, it is very reasonable as compared to similar hotel in the area. The employees are very polite. The front desk upgraded us for free to a one bedroom with a lot of space. We...

Really well located, you can go walking to visit most monuments and entertainment areas. Hotel areas look kind of old fashioned, but apparently working on renewing them. Rooms are nice and comfortable, but you can hear most of what's happening in the hall. Fabulous brunch served on Sundays, noisy inside but if weather allows sit out side.
