This hotel is exquisite. It is quiet, refined but not so pretentious that it is off-putting. It is close to all major tourist locations and nearby to great restaurants, as well. The bar/restaurant that is both part of the hotel and accessible from the street is also an enhancement to the whole experience. And finally, the staff is extremely accommodating....

Our 3rd time staying at The Jefferson. This time was suppose to be just my husband and myself, as we were dropping our daughter off in DC for her internship, so we reseved a King room rather than the suite. We had nice corner room with a King bed but had to upgrade to a larger room after our daughter's...

Intimate, historic, beautifully adorned, elegant yet relaxed. Probably the finest small hotel in Washington. One of our few go to hotels in DC. Superb service throughout. Dining, cocktails or tea, each wonderful. We shall return.

The hotel was farther from the white house than we thought , though still a short walk . We expected a connecting room to our suite , upon arrival they do not connect rather a hallway door is closed and your main door is kept open allowing 2 other rooms to have access to the main suite . We rented...

we decided to get a suite at the Jefferson. I strongly suggest doing this at least once or twice in your life, you'll feel like a millionaire .from the turn down service, to the transport to town, everyone knows your name, and is super friendly.the suite was more like an apartment ,about 1.000 sq. feet.gorgeous.

My husband and I traveled to DC for New Year's Weekend with our college-age son. We left a car with the attentive valet, and check-in was trouble-free.We were all able to comfortably share a large room with two queen beds. The room was spacious and quiet even though it was by the elevator with a view of the main street....

My wife couldn't stop talking about the decor in this hotel. We stayed four nights as a side trip from NYC. The hotel was just beautifully and smartly decorated in all areas.
