We stayed three nights on our short visit DC. The room was wonderfully located and very comfortable. And the staff were courteous and helpful from the moment we arrived. A short walk down to The Whitehouse the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the main tourist attractions on foot. Also walkable are the buzzy restaurants on 14th Street. If you're...

We stayed at the Jefferson for two nights as the base to see Washington. From the moment we arrived we felt pampered and looked after. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The bar, breakfast and dinner areas were first class in ambience, service and quality. We had room 502, which was a premier room with a King bed. Is...

The hotel has a certain historic charm, not usually my style but it did fit with the building. The room was spacious and had everything we could need, we were on the 5th floor and it was quiet for a city hotel. The sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary was a nice touch. 15 minute or so...

The Jefferson, The Mayflower and The Willard are the three "old world" hotels in the city. There are other newer hotels such as Mandarin Oriental which are first class as well but don't have the character that these do. The Jefferson is beautifully appointed and the staff are there to attend to your every need. Not inexpensive by any stretch...

My wife and I ave stayed at top hotels throughout the world and nothing tops this one. Checkin very simple at two desks in the small lobby. Staff immediately calls you by your name. Two places to eat - Quill which is a combination bar and informal eating area with a small patio. Food and service were outstanding. Breakfast and...

We arrived to find our suite not ready, but they immediately made sure we were comfortable in the bar area with appetizers and drinks. The butler showed us around the hotel before we headed up to our suite on the top floor. We booked through trip advisor and we felt like we got a great deal for our one night...

This hotel was great, super lobby, great rooms but the WiFi was so bad I'm only giving it 3 stars. Excellent location near the white house and all the major DC land marks. However I wouldn't stay here again only because of how bad the WiFi was. I couldn't work, couldn't email and couldn't surf the internet and that sucks...

First, I was amazed at the very small room with a tiny bathroom. Secondly, the hotel offers a complimentary car on their website, but it is never available.
