Hotel is in a great location, relatively close to DuPont Circle. Staff was very friendly, hotel was clean and quiet and we had an undisturbed night's sleep on a comfortable Westin-style bed. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed for a little less than a week here. The Fairfax is a charming combination of luxury and cozy warmth. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully appointed, and the service was great. Guest services quickly responded to our request for non-down pillows, and another time after we asked if they had a wine bottle opener we could use, they sent...

This really is a gem of a hotel - refined, elegant, full of old world charm and character. It has the feel of the very best luxury boutique hotels. Externally, a 7 or 8 floor imposing traditional building occupying a corner plot with a semi-circular driveway. We stayed for 4 nights as a family base for exploring Washington DC. We...

It was a nice place to stay and the staff( John, Quatina, Fatima, and others) was helpful for getting tickets to local attractions. The staff was also helpful for getting directions and getting things for the room. The hotel was close to the subway, which was handy for getting around the area. We had nice room and the air conditioning...

Travelling as a family of 5 with 3 young kids, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel special from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. We stayed for one night at this hotel and were sadly disappointed. The location is great. The service was good-especially Roy from the front desk. But I could not sleep-the in room ac frequently and loudly cycles on and off, waking me repeatedly during the night. There is apparently no ac in the hallways or lobby which I found extremely...
