We recently stayed at the Hotel & had an emergency Mr. Poku went over & beyond to assist & ensure that we were comfortable. The room was huge & very clean. I would definitely stay again, the proximity to restaurants & the sites is also a plus. & recommend to friends & family.
Washington Court Alan was my first intro to the hotel, it was when he answered the phone. I love him, he was so nice over the phone but even better when I met him in person. He Is the type of person that employers need to be proud of. Adam Is the second person that I met when I had a phone conversation to ask more questions. I never really got a chance to meet him in person, and that’s too bad because I’m sure he would’ve been just as nice. MilRosa? Dawit (valet) I love this man! So welcoming and personable. Jeff the manager, well where should I begin or where can I stop. I just want to say that all of us appreciated you. You made our trip to the nations capital so welcoming. You went way beyond. We found your hotel, had easy access, walking distance to many things, easy to get to the train station, easy to get Uber, easy to get to the airport. The rooms were nice, clean, had a refrigerator, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. If I am ever in the nations capital again I will make a reservation to stay there, I did enjoy it that much. A special bonus, it has now under the management group of the Hilton hotels. Clement, Ladger, I can’t remember what either one of them dead but I wrote her name down for a reason so they should be recognized. I WOULD RECOMMEND. …
The room had a very visually pleasing layout, a large television and was entirely larger than most hotel rooms, excluding any type of suite. The bathroom also seemed to be slightly larger than most in hotel rooms and was visually very nice.
There was no enforcement of mask-wearing. There were people all over the lobby and in the elevators without masks. The mattress was super hard. There was no available outlet at the desk in the room. The bathtub still had standing water from the shower I took the night before/didn't drain well. And there were hairs in the tub and on the sink. I had an adjoining room and the people next door sounded like they were in my room all night. The hotel doesn't carry cash so the valet got the whole $20 I took from the ATM. Merry Christmas, I guess. I was going to complain about this to staff when I checked out and they would ask me, "How was your stay?", but no one ever asked me that question. The entire stay was disappointing.
My overall experience was a very good one. From service, to the impeccably clean rooms to the very spacious free areas and even the strong shower pressure—it all just made sense. I have come back and will do so again!
