We enjoyed a couple of days sightseeing based at the Willard. It is placed well, being close to the White House, and the sightseeing hop on, hop off buses stop almost outside. It is about 8 minutes walk to the nearest Metro Stop and all of the main central places to visit are within walking distance. The hotel is quite...

From the minute we arrived, by car, the experience was perfection! What a great history! Don't miss the tiny history museum that gives a total history of the place. This is where I learned that the word "Lobbying" was born.

Great hotel, amazing spa, excellent location, very cool bar, huge room (got it as free upgrade). The only one thing i didn't like was the food. Just ok. Nothing special. For 5star hotel i expected something better.

Went for a weekend for a wedding in August. Between the rooms, the elegant lobby, the food and location I have to rat e this a true 5 star experience. My only regret is that I did not have more time at the hotel. It was one of the best stays I've had with my family.

we had another very enjoyable stay at the Willard. the building is a wonderful testament to history, and an architectural delight. the management are very friendly, professional, and efficient. we've stayed in the Woodrow Wilson suite on previous stays, with a connecting room, as well as the Oval Suite directly below on the 10th floor. both comfortable, and kept in...

We couldn't decide where to stay so we went to a different hotel each night. The Willard is the winner! The room was large and comfortable with plenty of seating and space for luggage. (Since we only stayed one night in each location we didn't unpack.) The minibar was tucked away and easily ignored, which is especially good for non-drinkers....

Everyone should really read reviews. Thanks to tips from trip advisor, I called the Hotel's front desk and asked for photo's of the Willard Room. You would think a room names after the Hotel would be grand. My first request for photos was on 7 Nov 2015, my second request was 2 weeks later and my third request was at...

Our stay at Willard was perfect in every way: from the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff to most beautiful room and a lobby - timeless luxury (that is hard to find nowadays). We travel a lot every year and visit plenty of hotels during our trips around the world. The stay at the Willard was one of the...

There are now so many luxury hotels in downtown DC, but as an IHG Ambassador level member, the Intercontinental was the choice for this 4 night stay in DC. The hotel was well decorated for the holidays as would be expected. After flying in from Paris and arriving to the hotel at 4:30PM, we finally made it to the desk...

The hotel with a double queen was delightful. Location is great right in the heart of DC close to most tourist attractions. We didnot eat at the Cafe LR Parc hotel restaurant but got lattes at the breakfast bar each morning. Hotel also has quite a history in Washington DC. It's a winner at a reasonable price. Service was excellent.
