Excellent service . We really enjoyed the stay . The staff was very good . The breakfast was good. Overall great experience. We would stay again when we coney to Washington DC. Keep up good work. The room was very clean.
Hotel premises smelled like marajuana including lobby, hallways, and suite. I have stayed at other Hyatt properties and I was very disappointed with my experience. I checked out 5 nights early and moved to the boutique hotel across the street for the same price. Take your business elsewhere! I am a young 20 something male here for business and made the mistake of meeting clients in the lobby. Not a good look. Come here to party...not for family vacation or business.
Visiting the DC area universities we didn't want to spend much on a hotel so we chose this one. It is in a perfect location to visit GWU, American and Georgetown. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Only minor complaints. The room was not well stocked with soap and tissues. Only one bar for the three of us and I had to go down to the main desk to get more because there's no housekeeping staff on duty in the evening because of COVID. We ended up using TP instead of tissues when we ran out. While I did find the room pretty clean, there was dust on the black tissue box cover in the bathroom and since the tissues ran out quick, I suspect it wasn't cleaned since the last guest occupied. We are all vaccinated so I wasn't too concerned.
The room was great for the value: very spacious, functioning facilities, good location. The TV was wonderful. Although the cleanness can be improved. I had to wipe out some sort of food residuals on the bed stand.
The hotel was well priced and the location was excellent. Breakfast was a tad disappointing and we skipped it even though we paid for it. But I assume that breakfast would have been better sans covid-19.
