Walking in it is such a cute place, but when it came down to the experience id say it was less than average. My boyfriend and I both stepped on little shards of glass at separate times and the shower knobs are falling apart. If you are a light sleeper be warned now that the walls are so thin you can hear anything any everything that anyone is doing. There were also strange colored stains on the curtains and other parts of the room. Each of these issues were documented with pictures aswell besides the noise issues. Its an okay place to crash for a night i guess.
This was my second time staying at Hotel Pepper Tree. I love the convenient location and the amenities the rooms offer. Both stays I've booked a courtyard 2-queen suite and enjoy being able to open the patio door and sit outside. The kitchen area is perfect since I travel with my senior dachshund and he eats homemade food which requires refrigeration. The fridge is large enough to also keep my leftovers and plenty of bottled water cold. The rooms are large, the beds and pillows are comfortable, and the hotel is charming. Will be back next month!
I loved staying here. The rooms are very spacious and the kitchenette has everything you need to cook. And it's very close to disneyland and there is a grocery store across the street. I will definitely be staying here again when I'm in the area.
Upon checking into the hotel there was no one at the service desk. I waited about 2 minutes in complete silence before feeling something was wrong. There was no bell to ring which made it even more awkward. There was no sign from management saying the desk attendant would return in a moment -- nothing. I was checking in at night so it compounded the inconvenience of it all. I finally had to call out, 'hellllo???' Before some voice on the second floor said they were 'coming'. A young man emerged from the elevator out of uniform, in a regular sweatshirt and jeans and asked how can i help you. Strange and creepy! My first reaction was that he did not work for the hotel, and to get out of there! He took a long time to check me in and then didn't even apologize for the wait. I should have been compensated in some way. Also the room decorations are soo old! Needs a refresh. The bulky, wooden furniture is outdated and not attractive. Definitely will not be returning.…
Has everything you need to get away from the normal everyday life. I really enjoyed this hotel/studio and was very impressed. The staff was extremely nice and attentive to our needs. This is my new favorite hotel in the Orange County area
