Very clean room and facility with kind compassionate staff! Everyone I encountered, from the front desk employees, housekeeping staff and the bussers at the breakfast welcomed me and my family. The morning breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again. Just a short distance away from Disneyland as well.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt place new Disneyland. We were able to check-in a little early at 1:30pm, which is very helpful when you have kids. Also when we requested to change rooms they were very accommodating and quick. We took the shuttle the first day from the Disney parking lot across the street. But my kids were stressing me out walking across the busy street and in the parking lot. So we ubered the next day and it was very cheap $9 for the bigger uber as we are part of 5. The hotel also put us and our friends on the same floor.

Wonderful Experience and Helpful Staff!
Our family usually stays at another hotel when are in town but ended up booking a room here because our usual place was fully booked over President's Day weekend and week.
We were not disappointed. The lobby was clean and modern and upon check in we were given two complimentary bottles of water. Our 5th floor room was also very nice and clean with a great view.
The next day we were all set to go to Disneyland and happened to talk to Ken at the front desk, who was a goldmine of information having had worked at Disneyland. He gave us so many useful tips we ended up saving a lot of time at the park and seeing things we would have otherwise never known about. We felt so lucky having a Disney cast member in the house! He was also a great help when we needed to extend our stay one more night due to a planning mistake on our part. He took care of everything in less than five minutes at 5am! Thank you Ken, you are awesome!!!
On top of everything, we really liked that breakfast was included so we didn't have to hit Disneyland on an empty stomach during our three day park visit. After checking out, my husband and I decided to make this our new go-to hotel the next time we are back to visit. We appreciated the wonderful experience and the smiles.

Our family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 kids (aged 11 and 5) stayed in a King Family room at the hotel for 4 nights for a Disneyland stay. Think the price worked out around $290 a night plus taxes etc. so definitely not a budget price.
We chose the hotel especially for the set up of the family room which had a separate kids bedroom area with bunk beds separated by a sliding screen for the adult sleeping area. It is about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland so a very convenient location.
The room was fine and clean and the room set up worked well apart from the fact that the kids had to walk through our sleeping area to get to the bathroom and that all the A/C units were in their section which could be a problem in summer! The main issue with the room was the lack of soundproofing - you could hear lots of noise in the upstairs room in terms of people walking around, snoring and even going to the toilet in the night!
Breakfast was good, we had jet lag from our flight from the UK so were up and downstairs for when it opened every day and there was a good selection including waffles and strawberries/blueberries which was a nice surprise. It got pretty busy later so would recommend getting there early.
There was an option to get some food in the bar area later on but in general this was pretty quiet/limited and we ate outside of the hotel - lots of restaurants in walking distance in Anaheim. Also a CVS within 5 minutes walk for snacks etc. There is a pool outside but we did not use it as the weather was a little cool and we were at the parks in the day. Was effectively in the car park though. We did not bring a car, but think you had to pay around $20 to park your car each night. Tip: there is a car rental place within 5 minutes walk so you can save yourself some cash by not renting a car until you leave Anaheim.
In summary, a decent family option for Disneyland, but marked down due to the soundproofing which is an essential from my side in order to ensure a good nights sleep!

We used to spend at least two nights a month at this hotel, but this last visit was a very disappointing one.
We requested the - KING FAMILY ROOM in order to have two sleep areas but the doors didn't work properly in fact they were falling down (maintenance helped us the best they could).
The room conditions were really poor (not the great condition we are used to have in this hotel).
King size mattress was not comfortable at all, it was a very old mattress no the usual ones in this hotel.
The shower was running or really hot water or really cold water (we reported to the front office but they did not do anything at all).

Very disappointed in the experience I had a Hyatt Place, as I used to frequent this hotel whenever I visited Disneyland. This hotel is located in a convenient spot near the Toy Story Parking lot and the staff were always very nice to us.
This time, I was infuriated by multiple issues and lack of care or support for a frequent customer. First, there are only 2 elevators for the entire hotel and 1 of them was broken. Since this is the only way to and from guest rooms, lobby, and the parking garage it was impossible to get around in a timely manner. There was a constant line of people that had to wait for 1 elevator to make multiple trips until their turn.
We were also placed in a room next to a very noisy neighbor who slammed their doors every 10 mins and their kids screamed and jumped past midnight. We called the front desk to resolve this issue, only to be ignored, and once we did reach someone we were put on hold without any help. We had to go downstairs to speak to the staff, where we saw a line of people waiting and one concierge. We finally were able to explain the issue to the front desk after multiple attempts, and were told that security will be on their way. We waited but we didn't see security come by, nor did anything in terms of the noise change. We ultimately had to put on headphones to drown out the crying and slamming, and just try to sleep. At this point it was more than an hour after we spoke to the concierge.
In the morning, it took us 15 mins to go downstairs to get our breakfast - to find out that they're giving out grab bags with a cookie, blueberry muffin and a juice box. This wasn't communicated to us upon check in, and this sugar surge "meal" should not be served to guests for breakfast. We ended up taking another 10 mins to catch an elevator and get breakfast elsewhere.
Came back to more slamming and screaming next door, so we decided to pick up our stuff and head out.
I hate writing these types of reviews, but this was an absolute nightmare after our first time at Disneyland since the pandemic. I definitely won't come back here, as I need my vacations to be relaxing and painless. Hyatt Place needs to check their staffing, maintenance, and customer service process, or I'm sure they'll be losing more business in the future.

They charge an extra $50 a day service fee when you check in (that is on top of what you already paid for the hotel) plus $30 a day in parking. A travel agent booked our stay, on the picture when she booked the room it had a picture of 2 sets of bunk beds (4 kid beds), on the hotel stay it said 2 bunk beds (which made us think 4 beds because a bunk bed is 2 beds) When we arrived there was just one bunk bed. She told us they didn't have a room with 2 sets. We were told the room would be cleaned after 2 days but then when we asked for the service on day 2 they told us they wouldn't come in until day 3. They said they would at least bring us towel and that didn't happen. Grungy water was coming up in our sink when we were not using the sink, the pipe under the sink leaked all over our clothes in the bathroom. I went to turn on the shower and then entire knob fell off and I couldn't get it back on. The maintenance guy was really nice and very apologetic about the issues. The breakfast was okay. Dining area was clean.

So first there’s a $22 a night parking fee, no housekeeping if stay is less then 5 days, you have to request cleaning. Beds are sunken in from having been used a lot, lamp in room hanging from ceiling didn’t stay on and looked about like it was going to fall. Breakfast was crazy and a little wait. Dissatisfied that a 4 day stay ended up $760 with fee, parking and room. At least staff was nice.your really just paying for location.

We thought we would splash out on a hotel close to Disney for the end of our 2 week California Road Trip and decided to book the Hyatt Place mainly due to the closeness to the Disney area but also after reading some of the reviews.
We spent a fair amount on this hotel so was expecting a lot only to be disappointed.
Although the location is great, 20 mins from Disney the hotel itself was a let down. Expensive parking, dated rooms, noisy AC so you could have it on through the night, slow elevators so long queues to get to your room, constantly noisy in rooms and down the hotel corridors, front desk staff weren’t particularly helpful, no free coffee in the lobby outside of breakfast hours but by far the worst part was breakfast. If you aren’t down by 7am you have no chance of getting a table, Hyatt need to adapt a traffic light system for busy times at breakfast like other hotels do in a tourist area. That and breakfast stops being served at 9 makes everyone head for breakfast at the same time. As the breakfast area is very busy it also mean that it can’t be cleaned, the first morning I came down to food all over the floor, drinks spilt on the counters, just not nice. Come on Hyatt a simple fix here, extend breakfast times and produce a traffic light system that shows guests when the most busy times are at breakfast.

I am a business traveler and prefer staying at the Hyatt hotels. This location is conveniently located in the heart of Anaheim near restaurants, shopping, and of course Disneyland. There are many hotels in the area to choose from but Hyatt continues delivering top-notch customer service and comfortable accommodations. This location is conveniently close to the highway, and just down the street from Disneyland. Parking is $26 nightly, and there is free WiFi and free breakfast. Friendly staff and it’s a clean hotel.
