This hotel does so many things very well. We arrived @ 9.30am from direct flight from Sydney. We were suppose to arrive @ 12.30pm but flight scheduled early. Alex at reception was absolutely awesome. We were able to drop off our bags and room was available by 1.30pm.

Great spot, I have bad joints and this was close enough for us to walk to Disney everyday. Rooms well appointed and CLEAN, Breakfast was fine - something to start the day but not get excited about. The pool is small, but then its more a place for the kids after a long day. Staff

My husband and I bounce between this hotel and the Red Lion across the street. It just depends on who has better pricing.

We enjoy the free WiFi , free parking, and best of all, the free hot breakfast. The dining room is clean, and has plenty of food. There are a couple of waff

Hi, Have all the rooms been renovated?
Not too sure about all the rooms but it did look like photos they have in their websites. I thought our room was nice and clean. Nothing fancy but it wasn’t dingy either. If people are looking for cream of the crop they belong at Hilton or Marriott. This is a simple hotel that fulfills all the necessary needs to shower, sleep and relax. We stayed in a deluxe studio and enjoyed every bit of our room. Hope this helps.

Hi, I have just made a 7 night booking with your hotel for March 2019. I would like to know if this stay is subject to any additional hotel service fees. Is so, can you please advise me the cost involved. My booking was done through Expedia and there was no mention of any further costs once the booking was made and paid for. Regards Sue.
Hi Sue, I didn’t have any other hidden/additional fees but I did book the hotel as a package via Hawaiian air. They did however collect a credit card for any incidentals and I believe it was $20/day or something close to that. Nothing ridiculous but I’d call the front desk and inquire just so you’re not surprised when you check in.

How much is the deposit?
We have never paid a deposit, just given a credit card to hold the booking. Usually we can cancel up until a few days before without penalty. It’s best to get your room reserved and then check around again at neighbouring hotels a few days before the cancellation date. If anyone has dropped their rates, you can usually get the Desert Palms to drop theirs as well. Also, check their room options again a day or two before the cancellation dates. They actually have quite a few different room configurations, and sometimes something will have freed up that’s at a better rate or a better value since you had first booked.

Is universal studios Hollywood close around there??
No - Universal Studios is many miles away. I would guess 30 - 60 min drive. You woudl be best to go there by private car or bus.

I already booked and paid for a three-night stay at a hotel. I wish to make a slight modification and stay only for two nights. Will there be an extra charge to make this modification
As long as you didn't book a non-refundable rate you should be able to if they have space available for your new dates. If the new dates are more expensive then you would pay the difference in the two rates to make the change. If you did book a non-refundable rate I would call the hotel and see if there is anything they can do. I do know from experience though that if you booked on a 3rd party site, like Expedia for example, you have to go back thru them. The hotel won't touch your booking. Hope this helps!
