My husband and I snuck away for a quick trip to Disney. It happened to be the weekend that Disneyland closed down so we didn’t get to fulfill the entire trip. We opted to fly home a day early as we didn’t have much else to do in the rain, during the closures of activities. We asked one of the young men at the desk if we could check out early, and what their policy was on issuing credits for nights. (We were ok if we had to lose the last night, as it was our choice to leave early, but was curious if they had any exceptions during the pandemic time.) The first young man we spoke with told us that since we booked with another hotel site, they couldn’t do anything and to contact them. With a 4 hour wait, we were gonna just take the loss. Upon checkout the next morning, the front desk was able to edit our stay and credit us back a night, without even mentioning how we booked and told us that with all that was going on, they would handle it on their end. It did take him a few hours to get it all handled, but we did not mind at all. We appreciated the help during a time that is out of all our control. Because of this hospitality, we would stay here again. The room smelled clean, and the bed was comfortable. I wish they had more blankets and pillows offered in their rooms but not a deal breaker. The free breakfast was ok, pretty standard but the coffee was good and that is truly what matters in the morning. 😊 The location is about a 20 min walk to the park, depending on route you take. We didn’t mind but at the end of the night it felt longer, but for the price, and being just two adults, we managed. We have stayed here before and have been overall pleased both times. We would book here again on any future Disney trips. …
For approximately $125/night, we got free breakfast, WIFI and parking for three people. This hotel is older, but better than expected. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but it looked nice. Our room was a balcony room overlooking the pool. It was clean and very quiet and the beds were comfortable. There was a large fridge and microwave. The only thing lacking was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. After three showers, it was pretty damp in there! The walk to Disney was easy, taking only about 10-15 minutes. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast food - waffles, breads, yogurt, cereal, fruit, eggs and sausage. It was the same every day. The eating area is small, but we got a table each day. There's also a couple of outside tables. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone looking for a quiet and affordable place to sleep.…
Across the street from Disney, 12 minute walk. If going to DL, walk to Downtown Disney then take the Monorail. Reasonable price. Nice landscaping, small pool, spa has handicapped lift. Plenty of outdoor seating. Limited parking, no room for bus or RV. Spacious room, refrigerator, MW, in room coffee. Simple bath, very comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, USB ports in lamp. Outside hallways, room has connecting door. Very clean, non smoking hotel. Probably older hotel but well painted and maintained. Simple hot breakfast with extra shaded seating outside, good coffee. Rear rooms overlooking pool are very quiet, can't hear busy street out front. Front desk friendly and efficient.
We arrived to hotel on Wednesday September 25th. The outside did look somewhat weather beaten from the road. There is also a liquor store right next door. We were greated by 2 employees, who were very pleasant and helpful. We were given the keys to our rooms. As we walked to the room, you see ice buckets under several of the room air conditioner units. You also smell marijuana coming from the rooms. We went into the room and the carpet was disgusting. It was sticky throughout. We were not able to walk barefoot in our hotel room. The rooms and property are extremely run down. Rooms are small. I paid $172 a night for room 200. Room 200 does have 3 queen beds, 2 in the normal format and one in a room that is the size of a walk in closet. The breakfast is scrambled eggs that are heated up in a large tupperware in the little store room just outside of the office, and precooked sausage patties. There is a waffle maker and they provide yoguart and fruit, bagels daily. We would go the park, return and the smell of marijuana was always there. In the evenings when we would return, people would be toking it up right on the playground. cigarette butts in the playground sand. Each time we would leave, our key would been to be reprogrammed. There also were not enough housekeepers, as our room would not get cleaned each day until around 5pm. We did request a 4pm clean one day, which was honored. I was surprised the other 2 days when housekeeping came at 5pm. Again, staff great, property not.…
Each year we try out a different hotel within walking distance of Disneyland. Usually the quality of hotel is low for the amount we pay and we expected this hotel to be no different. While the rooms and building are a little worn, we were actually very happy with our room. We had a microwave and fridge, the room was clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. The bathroom was in good condition and very spacious. The pool is a decent size and there is a hot tub. The continental breakfast each morning is the best we have had... waffles, eggs, sausage and bagels, toast, donuts, yogurt and jello as well as fresh coffee. It takes 14 minutes to walk from the hotel to the security check point at the entrance of downtown Disney and then another 7-8 minutes from that point to the entrance of Disneyland (we do not have kids so this time would increase with little legs) We will definitely stay again!!…
