Mold in the shower and rust stains in the sink ruin an otherwise OK room. TV reception is so bad as not to exist. The rooms are large and spacious and the decor is friendly and contemporary. Reservations can be necessary cause the town is popular. Check other options first

The motel is conveniently located, and doesn’t fill up as fast as the Best Western. Our double-queen room was pretty spacious, clean and surprisingly well lit. The air conditioning worked well after you bent down close enough to figure it out. The bathroom was clean with no mold, and the microwave and fridge worked OK, although the freezer section wouldn’t...

We were coming to the area for a concert and was trying to keep things reasonable so we called to book here. Guy was busy when I called, but took down my number and called me back a while later. Told him we would be traveling s few hrs, and he said he would make sure the room would be...

No rooms were available anywhere near an event we were attending in Murphys. Of course the owner was aware of supply and demand, and we had no other choice but to pay his demand of $149 which was about $100 over priced for a worn out room. I requested an AARP rate and was told that they were unavailable for...

I attended a wedding on Sunday, October 26th in Murphys and tried to book a room closeby back in August but everything was full! I decided to check out Angels Camp closeby and found Gold Country Inn. It looked very clean and the price was great! Check-in was quick and the manager was very friendly. We had a downstairs room...

While visiting friends in Arnold, 22 miles away I stayed at the Gold Country Inn in Angles Camp. CA. I would recommend the Gold Country Inn to anyone that wants a quiet, low cost motel. The Wifi worked great the entire time I was there, the bed was comfortable and the room was freshly painted and up to date. I...

This quaint, family owned/operated motel dates back to the 1960s. Some of the furnishings may be the original. Although the rooms----- and bathrooms---- could use some paint, TLC and refreshing, it provided a comfortable and clean bed. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Located conveniently within walking distance of the central commercial area.

This motel is situated along main street but we didnt hear any noise. Our room was big, wifi was good, bath/shower was fine. Happy to be on 2nd floor, ceiling is thin. We booked for one night but ended up staying 3 since the area has more to offer than Yosemite. Would stay here again, no breakfast though. Only problem...

I stay at a lot of small motels in small towns. As the motel goes, I had nothing to recommend this place. Everything about this motel was just below average. The thing that triggered my ire was that the manager was completely unresponsive. The internet connection didn't work for anyone. Several of us asked him if he could reset his...
