My wife and I stayed two nights at the Sand Rock Farm B&B in September 2015. Jen and Derrick are wonderful hosts. It is an oasis in the forest and is so close to the ocean and all the sights of the Central Coast. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We...

We stopped at Sand Rock Farm on our 27th anniversary. What a lovely place! Very convenient to Highway 1, but far enough away to be quiet and tranquil. This lovely craftsman home is clean and welcoming. The gardens and nature walk with several fountains really turn up the charm. Three cats found us walking and welcomed us, eager for petting....

My good friend was married at Sand Rock Farm last weekend. We were coming from the east coast so we decided to just stay the entire time at the b&b and make a vacation out of it. We arrived Thursday to a warm welcome by Jen and Derrick. Our room was a delight of cozy and bright/airy. They gave us...

Perfect locaton -- close to the water, but in the forests. Perfect house -- a sprawling arts and crafts home set amidst blooming gardens. The rooms are clean and bright and stylish. The staff is relaxed, welcoming and warm, and breakfast is delicious. We booked an early flight, and showed up at 10am. (Five hours before check-in.) Jen and Derrick...

This is simply an amazing home. Jen and Derrick are only the fourth owners of this 1870s estate built by the owner of the Spreckels company. The house has had an unusual amount of TLC over the years for a place this age. The current owners previous life was as caterers in the Tahoe area and it shows in the...

I stayed two nights and loved my time at the Sand Rock Farm. Every detail has been thought of by the owner who was very accommodating and kind. The breakfast was sensational. Great restaurants in the area as well. I will definitely go back.

We stayed at Sand Rock Farm to visit the annual Santa Cruz Open Studios art show. Even before we arrived, Kris, the owner and operator of Sand Rock Farm, made sure that everybody had all the important information to make our stay a success. The whole experience is very personalized, and you never feel like some random guest in a...

I am glad you enjoyed yourself while you were here and that breakfast was to your liking. We appreciate it when guests give us particular information about their dietary requirements so that we can offer something that they are happy eating for breakfast. The furnishings in the house are primarily antique and are pleased when guests enjoy the ambiance of...

Sand Rock Farm is a very well maintained house from the end of the 19th century. The furniture is a reminder of an elegant and distant past, while the Jacuzzi tubs in the bathrooms provide modern era comfort. The charming house, beautiful grounds and delicious breakfast make the stay at this bed and breakfast a very pleasant experience. The scenic...
