Hotel located near several other hotels and plenty of restaurants in close vicinity. This is your standard HGI, but it's on the run down side. The walls are thin as I could hear my neighbors snoring. The housekeeping staff need to be reminded that guests may be sleeping etc....There is no need to constantly slam doors etc when cleaning. I was staying here for 5 days on business trip and this was a daily occurance. Annoying. The room just felt like it needed a good thorough cleaning...get the yellow stains off bathroom walls, scrub the dirt and crust out of corners etc...

We stayed here for the Rose Bowl Parade in Dec 2019 / Jan 2020. My daughter's marching band participated in the parade. The hotel is in a excellent area for access to the Rose Bowl parade. There is a train stop very close by that will take you to the parade area and in about a 1/4 mile walk, you're on the parade route. We got from the hotel to a spot on the street in less than 30 minutes on the morning of the parade. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the nightly happy hour and nicely updated lobby area. I also used the computer room to do some trip planning so appreciated those facilities.
There were really only 2 downside to the property: 1) the rooms are a little dated. Our room on the 1st floor had a musky smell. We had just come from a very modern hotel in Santa Monica, so this was a little disappointing in comparison. 2) no continental breakfast - not that big of a deal because there are restaurants and grocery nearby.
Overall, it's a great location for the parade, but I would only stay on the nights required to be in the area and spend the rest of my time on the East side of LA.

Had a stay at the Hilton Garden Inn at Arcadia, I was driven by price on this visit and it by far had the lowest rates in this area with 4-5 other large chain hotels in this area. What I liked was that parking is always free at this location which always helps. The service desk was a bit cold, unwelcoming but no issues and got the job done. But I can't say they were happy to see me or I got a warm and welcome greet.
Overall what drove me to write this review is that the level of the property is a bit disappointing. It was dirty, especially the carpets from the lobby to the hallways leading to the room. The property itself looks a bit dated and the dim lighting whether it is to save on electricity or not just made the place look dark and dingy. Pets are also welcome at this hotel and I think that added to my perception that the carpets, lobby and other common areas were dirty and could use a nice deep cleaning. I saw two dogs on my stay and not a fan of animals in hotels but understanding.
Next the room was probably 99% clean, got the job done and was surprisingly quite at capacity. No issues with checkout through the Hilton app.

When you're staff is confrontation about the fact the exit doors including the fire exits are locked from the inside it present a big problem for me personally and I am quite sure with the fire marshal Wich I have been told you have one in Arcadia. Never have I been traveling and felt like someone missed the customer service mark by so much. It depressed me to even have to call you out on it but here we are. Discrimination happens on many levels and when it's ageism that is quite upsetting due to the fact that the a large portion of your business is people over the age of 55. I think I'm cutting people a lot of slack right now because none of us are in our happy place The world is not a happy place and people generally are walking around angry and dismayed. So when I show up at your property I was hoping to be welcomed into my house for the upcoming few days and that is definitely not what happened. You would have got maybe a three and a half due to the condition of the room the lack of available amenities really not your fault at the moment. But there was no one at the hotel cleaning anything ! I didn't see anyone clean the elevator or clean the elevator buttons .I didn't see anybody wipe down the doors, The counters at check-in or even pick up the garbage that sat next to the elevator and next to the rooms next to me . I thought we were not renting rooms out right next to one another but almost every room next to mine was rented out.

We recently stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Arcadia / Pasadena. We had the worst experience at this property. We have stayed at this property for over 15 years and it has changed drastically. I did read the reviews on this hotel and it is very concerning. The entire hotel smells like weed. I am Serious the entire hotel and it is strong. The hotel is also very loud from music people yelling, talking, landscaping, maintenance, doors slamming, etc, but all hours of the day and night. The staff was rude, took 6 hours to get a pillow after 2 requests and I requested it at the time of reservation. it took 3 hours and 2 requests to get the toilet fixed. I tried to call to hotel for several days to get help with digital key and no answer. Hardly any toilet paper in the room. We never saw anyone cleaning public areas and they claim we should see them more due to covid and we were out all times day and night. The public areas had trash and the floors were badly in need to be vacuumed. People were loud all hours of the night. Our first night it did not quiet down until after 12:30am. When I asked the second time for the pillows the front desk guy said I had to wait because he was going home and the next shift would have to do it. I received my pillows at 9pm. Hand sanitizer stations were always empty and some of the front desk staff never had their masks on. If I am wearing a mask they should be wearing a mask, just because there is the plexiglass screen there it does not stop their germs going thru the hole in the plexiglass. This used to be a clean nice and quiet hotel that I recommended to everyone now I will never step foot into the hotel again. The staff actually looked bothered by helping us. They need to take some classes in customer service. There were also sketchy people hanging out in parking lot which never happened before. We over paid for this hotel. Felt like we stayed at a super 8 not a Hilton Garden Inn.

This was a terrible experience at my 2nd stay at this location & I will never stay here again. We had maintenance issues, but because the hotel was full, we were told they would comp 2 nights. I had to go to the desk 3 times to get this taken care of & upon checkout I was charged. Then I was charged again, the day after I checked out. A supervisor did refund my money on the 2nd charge. The room had a continual leak in the bathtub & it was not draining properly causing it to continually fill up. There were food condiments found in a drawer by the microwave, left from previous guests. This did not give me confidence to the through cleaning of the room - as it was “sealed & sanitized”. There was also an issue with security as the side door of the hotel was being continually propped open by guests. I informed the front desk & let them know an umbrella was being used to prop the door, and I had seen it out there more than once. They told me they would go over there and remove it and they never did. I wound up taking the umbrella and getting rid of it myself only to find later that people were still propping the door open by putting a sticker over the lock. My concern was that no one was checking the doors around the perimeter to ensure the security of guests at the hotel. If they would have allowed us to use our digital keys on the side doors no one would have been propping them open. Overall, one of my two worst Hilton stays.

My family chose this hotel for its access to Pasadena for the Rose Parade and Fiesta Parade Floats in Irwindale. The location is good. The hotel is close to a Gold Line station, which my husband used when returning from the Rose Bowl. There are a number of restaurants nearby.
The room was clean, but could have been better. The bed was uncomfortable to sleep on. My back is adjusting to my comfortable mattress at home after five nights on the hotel mattress. The shower pressure was too high. If you wanted to put a rollaway in the 2-Queen room, I'm not sure one would fit.
Service was good. All the people we interacted with were very helpful.
The pool was supposedly heated, but too cold for my family to swim in. Not that you have to swim in January, but my kids were disappointed.
The lobby/restaurant great room is cute. It was decorated for Christmas on our stay. Supposedly there is a "restaurant" in the hotel, but not really. There's a breakfast serving area, and half the great room is used for eating space in the morning. There was a bar in the evening. A selection of premade food was available to purchase at any time.
Parking was easy.

We were in town for a wedding and chose this hotel because of the proximity to the wedding festivities. The hotel location was perfectly safe as we spent time walking, exploring the many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel amenities are what you would expect, guest laundry, heated pool. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. A clean hotel and if I get back to the area, will consider staying there again.

We book this hotel for my daughter and her friend to stay on the way from San Francisco to Phoenix.
My daughter called me from there very upset about how duty their room is. This hotel was honestly disgusting. In the bathroom there was pubic hair, what looked like throw up, and there was a used band aid by one of the beds. The lady at the front desk was rude and unwelcoming . I called front desk and talked to Picena? I simply asked to give them another room or clean existing one. She refused to do so and told me that they are welcome to go where they want to go ( it was around 10 PM) and no refund will be issued as they checked in 10 min ago already. I have never experienced such a bad customer service specially during Covid-19. Hotels.com also called front desk and got the same answer: " No another room, no refunds. They are welcome to leave hotel and look for something else." My daughter and her friend left the same night they checked in.
Very sad that people can be so rude and still work with customers.

No. Hilton Garden Inn's do not typically include free breakfast.
Couldn't say for sure. In our case, we reserved a room about a month before the actual stay, and the room was there for us when we arrived to check in. As had been the case a year earlier. Definitely something to take up with Hilton, as I think any of us would want to feel secure that a reservation meant the room would be definitely saved for us on the night or nights we'd booked......
