Tired and couldn't find a room in a town where a Disney shoot had scooped every other decent motel, we were forced to stay at the Ramada Inn that was in the process of converting from a Quality Inn. They should have closed it while totally rehabbing it because it was almost uninhabitable. It was dirty and smelly with sticky...

Tried to stay at quality inn and earn choicepoints. Thankfully the desk was upfront and told me they were changing franchise ( NOT choice hotels). Price was comparable to old rates. Staff (the one there) was friendly and helpful and they were painting to the new color ( red and white). They still will serve continental breakfast it looks like,...

We have stayed at almost all of the motels in Arcata now to visit our daughter at HSU and this one is by far the best. The room had no weird odors and was relatively clean. We paid 94.00 a night and it was HSU's family weekend so many motels had raised their prices. The bathroom was clean yet worn...

We stayed at this hotel while attending a volleyball tournament in Arcata. The coach booked the rooms and after reading the reviews I was VERY concerned. Upon check in, I requested (very nicely) a renovated room. The kind man at the front desk explained that all the rooms have now been renovated just the hallway in the one wing was...

I should have remembered to go to Trip Advisor, rather than using the Quality Inn website, to look at reviews. The ones here are accurate. If I had wanted a Motel 6, I would have stayed in one (might have been better, anyway). I had booked online through Quality Inn for 2 nights, at least 2 weeks before my stay....

Staff at check in weren't really interested, rooms were just ok for the price, decent size but old and not really clean. Rates were cheap but you still expect something comfortable. In a dodgy area. Would look elsewhere.

This is the second time we've stayed here. The location is great, just off the freeway but far enough around a long curve that the noise level isn't intrusive. The hotel, however, looks to be in decline, at least on the "pet friendly" side. The rooms we had were upstairs. The corridor between rooms has a very weird smell, something...

I was very DISAPPOINTED with the town of Eureka. It's a SLUM!! Quality Inn in Arcata, Ca., is in a much better area and the PRICE is Lower as well. We enjoyed the KING BED and the WAFFLES at breakfast. Nice quiet area but close to town of Arcata.
