The hotel was extremely clean. Front desk staff were very pleasant and friendly. Room was very, very clean and well laid out. Beds were comfortable and we both had a wonderful nights sleep. The grab and go breakfast was average, but can't expect much during this time of Covid.
We have been staying with this amazing hotel. The staff all of them have been exceptional. They really are authentically nice and very responsive to feed back and resolve any issues that come up during your stay. I would like commend them on a job so very well done during even the difficult times of Covid they maintain a very clean and sanitary environment. This is a brand new hotel, it is in a very safe location, close to stores and restaurants, it has a pool and weight room, and even washers and dryers to do your laundry if you are staying for a period of time. During Covid the weight room is closed, but you can use the pool and laundry facilities by appointment. This hotel is very accommodating if you are traveling with children or animals.
Great spring break stay for our family with small dog. They even had a dog walking area for our pet with bags. Due to Covid we did not get daily maid service which is a bummer & not their fault. We liked location; close to SLO, Pismo, Morro ect. (within 20 min). Staff was always helpful & super friendly.
Overall this Home2Suites was clean and modern with friendly staff. The location is pretty remote, however. We chose this hotel because it was much less expensive than Hiltons or other brand name hotels in San Luis Obispo. The hotel seems new and everything was clean and functional. Our king bed was really comfortable and the kitchenette was clean. The dishwasher is LOUD, so we recommend running it when you’re not in the room. The room had plenty of workspace and storage space. Covid breakfast was pre-boxed and contained a small container of yogurt, 2 hard-boiled eggs, and a prewrapped bagel/cream cheese plus water. Coffee and tea are only available in your room. Their fitness room was still closed despite the county allowing gyms to be open with limited capacity. Their outdoor pool was open and looked big enough to swim laps but we didn’t use. The hotel’s location is off of Hwy 101--good if you just need a convenient in/out stop, but otherwise it’s a remote, industrial frontage road and no easy place to jog, which was frustrating after experiencing their closed fitness center. You can jog or walk southeast (right) along El Camino Real to “downtown” Atascadero (~2 miles). There is no consistent sidewalk for about a quarter mile, then inexplicably the sidewalk ends and you have to cross the road for sidewalk. There is no lighting along the road. It is not a pedestrian-friendly area. There is a discount strip mall one block from the hotel with a supermarket.…
Awesome hotel with friendly service, great location and Covid approved! Easy access to freeways for quick day trips to Pismo Beach and Paso Robles. The staff is very courteous and accommodating as well as efficient. Housekeeping was great!
