My team and I stayed here for a small film shoot in the area, and we were treated very well by the staff and desk. They bent over backwards to our annoying requests, opened more rooms, worked with us on availability, and were just generally lovely and accommodating. A very special thank you to Desiree and her staff, who also had a small wedding in at the same time. There’s a really lovely outdoor area where they took great wedding pictures, probably 50 guests.
I very much enjoy not having housekeeping service every day, since I was using the room all day, but you can request they clean your room if you’re gone in the middle of the day.
The breakfast was free and COVID protocol safe, and they don’t make you wear a mask if you’re vaccinated. I usually wear one for other people who can’t get vaccinated, but there’s enough space for social distancing options if you forget.

The hotel is fairly new, and the room was clean when we checked in. They offer breakfast in the morning. The pool is a salt water pool, as is the hot tub.

On the downside, we stayed 2 nights and they didn’t clean our room the 2nd day when we were out of the room. We called down to the front desk, and were told that the check in person should have told us that guests need to request maid service. (Oddly enough, the person that told us this WAS the guy that checked us in). They promptly brought us some towels when requested. The water pressure in the room was terrible. We paid over $200 per night for the room, so it could have been better.

We were a wedding group of about 25 rooms in December 2022. We could not ask for a nicer facility locally or more helpful and welcoming staff.
Right from the booking process and room- block stage, they gave us such confidence that we never wanted to look for alternatives. A bunch of changes were made and accomodated without any hesitation ( Kudos to Gabi ). We then met her and Melissa during our initial site visit, and what a delight it was! The arrangements were made flawlessly, including the banquet room. They put us in touch with outside vendors who also turned out to be super nice.

During the actual dates of stay, we found the rooms super clean and fresh.
The staff was eager to help. In Addition to Gabi Bertolizzi and Melissa Bowers, we also had the pleasure of meeting other senior staff, Hamid Khan and Dominic Desouza, who solved any issues that we could not find solutions to.

No stay is fun without good food. Even though they do not have a full fledged restaurant on site, the daily breakfast ( included in room rate) was extra ordinary. On the evening of our arrival, the brick oven pizza made inhouse was delicious.

We left the hotel with such fond memories that we promised ourselves to return within a year!

Rented a meeting room for a celebration of life. Discussed The price of the room with extra coffee and tea. Two days later I get an extra $300 charge due to them stating they opened up more of the meeting room without me who paid for the room in the first place, they never called and approvedThe opening of the space nor did they talk to me when I was at the hotel itself. They will not remove the charge, which is very unprofessional and would never stay there and will let my friends know never to stay there. I grew up here and have never been treated so poorly buy a sales person or the staff at Springhill hotel. It’s new and I guess they think they can get away with it. Any issues that were involved should’ve been taken care of at that time

Our 2 night reservation needed to start a day early, and luckily we were able to contact the rotary direct to see if coming on early could be accommodated. The associate at the desk just before midnight was very pleasant and messaged me after receiving our add-on reservation that he made the notations I requested to our account. My husband has Parkinson’s disease and any accommodations that one can make to make things easier on us are always very much appreciated. I am terrible about catching names (often there are also no name tags to reference) :( as I would like to compliment all this hotel’s front desk staff by name! Upon arrival at 130am the staff had changed so I didn’t get to compliment the young man that took our phone call earlier. The new staff includes a new trainee and a more veteran mentor. Both were incredibly welcoming and helpful! The rooms are clean, well appointed and comfortable. In the summer, it’s incredibly hot in Auburn. The best amenity is the covered parking garage and that the elevator goes right from the guest rooms to the garage. While it was barely used, it’s a real bonus not to have to fight for space at the main entrance. Friends who came up for a gold tournament our club was hosting stayed across the freeway at a BW motel. We definitely feel we scored having chosen this Marriott property! We’ll be back next year for our tournament’

I know this is a new Hotel and because of that they should be bending over backwards for their guest. We get to our room there are only 2 paper coffee cups, to drink from. If we used them for wine then we wouldn't have coffee cups for in the morning. My husband went back to the front and asked for plastic cups, they gave him plastic cups he also asked for real coffee cups, which they got for him. While he was gone I was walking the halls looking for the ice machine. I didn't find it. My husband points to the sign that says Ice Machine and an arrow. I told him I went that way and didn't find it. He took off to go get the ice. When he finally came back with ice, he told me our floor the Ice Machine hasn't been installed yet. He had to go down to the 1st floor and found their ice machine. Needless to say he was not a happy camper. The next morning we went to the front at 8 a.m. and asked the people if we could get our room cleaned, while we were gone. They said yes but we had to be gone for at least 2 hours. We said we will be gone all day. Needless to say, when we got back at 4 p.m. our room hadn't been touched!! We were really pissed off now, my husband gone the maids 3 doors down and asked them to restock our room. They came over gave us towels, restocked our coffee, didn't come in to clean or anything, which was fine because we were tired. Or forgot to say, when we had coffee the 1st morning they had no sweetener for our coffee, luckily we had some in our suitcase.

Thank you so much for your feedback, we really value and appreciate our guest's comments and take all of your feedback into consideration to help create a great experience for future guests. As we have all come to experience with the current pandemic, things are changing, sometimes on a daily basis and we are striving to follow local, county, and Marriott guidelines to keep our guests as well as our staff safe during these unprecedented times. Part of those guidelines include the amenity items we are allowed to have in our room, such as cups, etc. I'm happy to hear our staff was able to provide the cups you requested. Our Housekeeping service runs from 9am-5pm every day, I apologize the hours were not communicated to you when you mentioned you would be out all day. Unfortunately, since you returned a little early, at that point our housekeepers would have to adhere to the Covid guidelines and not be able to enter your room to clean, but able to replenish as they did. As you stated, with a new hotel, things do sometimes take time and unfortunately signs were put in place for a second floor ice machine which has not yet been installed. I understand that would be frustrating and that is something we are currently working on and should be finished with by the end of the this month. We do hope that you will give us another try in the future as we strive to improve and be the choice accommodation in Auburn and surrounding areas.

At check in you are directed to fill in a form. You must turn in form that night. You must only choose ONE item from a horrible list of Pre-K size food items. "GRAB AND GO" breakfast is then handed to you after asking a reception the next morning.

Too bad that such a beautiful property, clean rooms and (poorly trained) staff have to deal with an insanely awful breakfast policy by General Manager. The staff received negative feedback daily and they are tired of apologizing for management's insane cost cutting disaster they call "breakfast". Sad.

Perfectly fine and clean hotel. It is brand new
Make sure to get a parking lot facing room, other side has a lot of road noise

One thing to be wary of is they charge $15/day/room for use of the parking lot, gym, and pool. This is crazy. No other Marriott property charges this for their basic level of service.

I was reserved for two nights, but checked out after the first night.

None of the employees were observing the covid-19 safety precautions. With none of the employees observing, neither were the customers. This means, getting in the elevator meant being way closer than six feet from another unmasked person.

the front desk did have some tape on the floor, but the desk clerk actually sneezed while I was checking in. Of course, she was not wearing a mask. it's impossible to give this brand new hotel more than one star given that you could catch a deadly disease if you stay here.

With 7 weddings in one weekend, I knew that the staff would be busy. From the moment we walked in late Thursday night to leaving early Sunday morning — I was impressed by the cleanliness, professionalism, and that I had no issues with noise. The breakfast is amazing, and staff are friendly and relatable. Housekeeping also tidied our room and arranged some of our personal bedding on the bed. Out of all the hotels I’ve been to (and worked at) I’m impressed and cannot recommend this place enough. We came to Auburn for a funeral and it was amazing to have our accommodation exceed my expectations.
