This was our first time at the island. It is a small lovely and quaint island. The hotel served our purpose. It was not high season and they still put us in one of the rooms next to the lobby. It was very loud in the mornings, especially with the employees and their friends running around. Our room number 111,...

the room we had booked had been repainted and unfortunately the smell was still quite strong in the room ..Without hesitation the charming stall Paul and Ignacio upgraded us into a suite as it was the only available space for our family . Helpful staff , great location would recommend this to all Reds

We traveled to Catalina to compete in a triathlon and had no expectations for the island. We were blown away by pretty much everything! Hotel Catalina has a main building which we traveled to for check-in and were informed that we were in their satellite "courtyard" location a few doors down. We were happy with this because the front-desk guys...

My husband and I celebrated our 28th Anniversary with a bucket list adventure... Catalina Island. We planned to stay only the night of our anniversary and we left the next evening. I wanted a mid price range hotel, (under 300) and I found this one on Booking.com Hotel Catalina is a 10 minute walk from the ferry to the front...

Totally enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Catalina! The staff are extremely friendly and professional! The rooms are decorated in Victorian style, our room had a view of the ocean, which was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are small, but there is plenty of room to sit outdoors, with three large front patios and an outdoor hot tub area, the hotel...

We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Catalina. Friendly staff, clean, cozy room. Enjoyed the spa and sitting on the porch. Close to everything. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went on my birthday and appreciated the 20% discount on the room!

This is a nice little hotel right in the center of Avalon, walking distance to all restaurants, shops, beach and ferry service. Hotel room was nice but small, bathroom is very roomy and clean. Free WiFi. The hotel gets sold out on weekends and prices are bit too much. Also when we were staying, they messed up the reservation and...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Catalina. It's a charming, cozy, old fashion Victorian Style place with all modern conveniences. It's a little off the main drag, but still within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and even the pier where the ferry lands. Actually Avalon is so small that everything is within easy walking if you're...

Stayed at the Hotel Catalina for one night. Staff were really friendly and very accommodating. Given the outrageous hotel prices Avalon has to offer, 130.00 for a Sunday night was not bad. The room was small but comfortable. Mine did not have air conditioning, but it did have a large and quite fan which was nice. My only gripe is...
