This place is a gem of all gems and so are the hosts Ernie and Sandy. The only thing I don't like about that place is the fact that we could not stay longer. Our second time there we only had 2 days. This time we stayed in the Wolf Room and loved it. It is a bid bigger than... More

We stayed here this August for our anniversary and loved it! The owners, Sandy and Ernie are the most hospitable B&B owners we've ever encountered. The lodge is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and lovely. Amenities are everywhere down to the smallest detail. It was the most social B&B we’ve stayed at as well. We were chatting in the... Previous rave reviews were not exaggerated. Sandy and Ernie, the hosts, were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late in the evening (just before 10 PM), and although it was almost the hosts bed time, we were welcomed as soon we arrived with enthusiasm. The accommodations and food are delightful, and every detail is well attended. The only regret we... More

If you're looking for somewhere special, comfortable and above all friendly, look no further. A warm welcome from Sandy and a great home feel with fabulous accommodation, views and beautifully comfortable bedrooms A stay isn't complete without a dip in the hot tub whilst the rain drizzles down - fantastic 😀 A real bonus was seeing the spectacular humming birds... My wife and I and our two younger adult children stayed here while in town to visit our oldest daughter. Ernie and Sandy are terrific ! They are very attentive and make your stay comfortable and memorable. The breakfasts are very good and they will accommodate an early departure for the days activities with food to go. I don't recommend... More

It was -7 degrees F outside, but very warm and friendly inside during our recent visit. The Mountain Comfort B&B is an outstanding place to visit and an excellent value. Ernie & Sandy may have had careers before this, but they were born for this business! The B&B experience is not just about accommodations, but meeting people in a public... More

We stayed here for the first time when we just wanted a night away from Denver. This B&B is about 2 hours from Aurora, CO (we went via 285), just off Rt 9 between Fairplay and Alma. It is clearly visible from Rt 9 (on the right going from Fairplay to Alma) and there is a large sign that spans... More
