Rooms have 3 beds, which worked great for room/cost sharing. Nice interiors. Externally it's more of an old style motel with the rooms entered off of an unenclosed hallway. Limited parking. Lots of nice photos around the property. Office was very nice, a bit of a mini

I chose this based on reviews and pricing as there aren't many lower budget options in Aspen, CO. Oddly enough I got the same room as last time. Lot's of room in my room, kitchenette too. Free parking there (which is tough in Aspen) and easy walk to all of downtown. I'd stay

Thank you for the nice review Shaybly. Your repeat business is a wonderful compliment in and of itself, and we very much appreciate your loyalty. Aspen being such a walkable town, our location is indeed a great asset as you have pointed out. And with a few extra dollars in your pocket that you didn't have to spend in lodging, you can enjoy more of what Aspen has to offer. We wish you safe travels and look forward to your next visit.

Traveling with a service dog, would an upper level be available
Hello Linda, Under our current policy, we do not allow pets on the property That being said, certified service dogs are allowed and must be under your control at all times. They may not, at any time, be left unattended in rooms, unattended in vehicles or left elsewhere on the property unattended. Additional charges may apply if damages are incurred. As for the accessibility, Anne is correct in stating we do not have an elevator. All rooms are only accessible by stairs. Our lower floor is 7 stairs below ground level, our mid floor is 7 stairs above ground level, and the third floor is an additional 14 stairs up. I hope this is helpful in making your decision, and I hope we see you soon. Jim

The lodge sits perpendicular to Main St which at times can generate some traffic noise. The lowest number on each floor, (room 101), would be closest to Main St while the higher number, (room 105), would be furthest away. If it is the traffic noise you are looking to avoid, then 104 would be the quietest of the rooms you listed.

Hello! Aspen's city run shuttles operate every fifteen minutes or less throughout the winter season. The stops for all four mountains are a block away or less. We do not have ski specific lockers, but we are happy to store your gear in the office at your request.

Hi Adam, Our rooms were on the top floor. I believe it would be best if you contacted the Tyrolean Lodge directly about wheelchair accessibility I do know that the lowest floor is partially below ground, and I believe one would have to take steps to that level too. We had to walk up stairs to the middle level where the office is. There are no elevators, unfortunately, but this is an old lodge from 1971. Please contact the Lodge for further information. I hope it works out for you to stay there. Anne

"Third floor rooms have high ceilings and feel much more spacious."
"Rates go up as you go up floors. Bottom level is half underground."
"in summer having a middle room vs end was probably better to avoid windows opening to Main St which is loud. Our room was 304"
"higher floor has less noise"
"Choose a room on the third floor just to avoid any overheard noise. There are no elevators, however."
