The house is beautifully furnished and the room, though small, was very comfortable. We were very well looked on arrival. Our one complaint was breakfast. They ran out of eggs and we had to made do with just toast. Also the coffee was very watery. When we complained, the attitude of the staff was disappointing to say the least.Rather than apologise they went...

Thank you for your review. The Coombs Inn & Suites strives to make every guest stay enjoyable. We have a rather lavish breakfast including cereal (both hot and cold), fresh baked goods and fruit, to name just a few options. We apologize that for an unforeseen circumstance you were unable to enjoy one of the egg based casseroles.

Our room was in a separate house, a block away from the main house. It did not have charm, nor was it inviting. Just a basic, small room with creaky floors, old fixtures, paper thin walls which allowed the adjoining room sounds to blast through. Cheap, small thin towels in the bathroom, a shower fixture which required a weight lifter...

We enjoyed our stay. We found the accommodations comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was very friendly and tried to be welcoming. However; the room could have used a good housecleaning. There was quite a bit of dirt and grime in the corners. Wouldn't recommend for kids.

This Bed and breakfast inn was a nice surprises. We had one of the smaller rooms on the first floor, so got some noise from upstairs room above ours. The bathroom needs a little up keep. Shower curtain and bath mat was looking grimy. We did enjoy are short visit in Apalachicola .

The Coombs House Inn is within walking distance of everything Apalachicola has to offer & as well as the historic interest we can recommend visits to the Oyster City Brewery & Muddy Evolution Pottery. The house has been beautifully restored & has great period details. The porch was a welcome place to sit with coffee & home made cookies after...

While the inn itself is charming and set within the magnificent light along the Forgotten Coast, it was without doubt the INCREDIBLE staff that made our stay at the Coombs a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. From the moment that April's thoughtful attention to detail helped us with our booking, I sensed that the staff was extraordinary, and my perception was...

Very nice older home with modern updates and beautiful decor. Nice hosts and good breakfast and snacks throughout day. Great locations close to downtown and the water! We will come again. Loved sitting on the porch and in the gardens. Thanks

Always enjoy staying at the Coombs Inn. This is our 3rd year in row visiting the inn and we are never disappointed in the friendliness of the staff and yummy breakfast. This is the 1st year we attended the wine and cheese hour and had an absolute blast. Kudos to Tracy for making it a hit. Tracy and Crystal are...

What a wonderful stay. We have seen the Coombs B&B many times while visiting the area and finally decided to try it out. What a fabulous Inn! Very cozy and finely decorated. Room 16 had a comfy king size bed and everything needed to make it an enjoyable room. We will definitely stay here again!

We stopped for a night on our way from St Augustine to New Orleans. Apalachicola is a nice little town on the Forgotten Coast. The king size bed in room #2 on the first floor of the main inn was comfortable, and we received a great rate from Expedia. It’s as short 3-4 block walk to the downtown area restaurants....
