We had to stay here for 2 nights, needed a room w/2 queens but they only had a king, offered to upgrade me to a suite at no extra charge then for day 2, they moved me to a 2 queen room quickly & easily. If I wanted coffee, they would make it fresh. If I had a question, they were always happy to help. There are no covid issues at this hotel, GA is open & no mask mandates here. People are happy & friendly. Room are clean & bed was comfortable. I checked out, hours later I noticed I left my pillow. They had found it when they cleaned the room & held it for me in case I called, which I did . :D
We stayed here 1 night in March. It was the halfway point for us driving to Florida. Room was nice. They accommodated my requests I had made via the Marriott app. We were trying to get out of here early and when they said breakfast was at 6:30, we said perfect. Got up to be ready for breakfast at 6:30. Problem was the guy setting up breakfast was the slowest person I have ever seen. Took him forever to set it up and due to Covid it is stuff coming out of a box, so not sure why it took so long to set up. Employees weren't the friendliest people. Women checking us in seemed annoyed we were there. Women at the front desk in the morning sat over in the breakfast area the entire time. It is good for a quick stop. Hopefully the employees become nicer.
Property and room were in good shape but when we walked into the lobby, there was an entire family of guests without masks despite the large signs that they are required. Instead of asking them to mask up the front desk staff greeted the family warmly. Both hand sanitizer stations near check in desk were empty. Did not inspire confidence. Poor soundproofing of guest rooms/hallways. Hard to find driveway entrance after dark.
We had driven 8 hours from Tampa and needed a place to stay the night. The late start put us in Acworth around 11pm. We were upgraded upon arrival by the friendly and efficient front desk young lady working Saturday night. Out room was clean and spacious. There was a coffee machine and coffee pouches with creamer and sugar in our room. We got a great night sleep and headed out in the morning towards home. There was pleanty of food offerings to choose from that we snatched up before departing. The Marriott that we'd stayed at the night before had nothing to offer at all for food service. Kudos to this Marriott property. We will definitely stay here again on our next journey to Tampa.
We stayed here one night and found the place and staff very conscientious about the importance of maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. The bed was very comfortable as were the selection of pillows. We will stay here again. The only negative was that there was no coffee maker in the room or available coffee in the lobby. Not sure if this is just temporary due to the virus.
