I'll start with the room. It was fine. I got the King Suite and had no problems. They had Fox News and the Golf Channel, which is all I car3ed about. Bed was good and bathroom was clean. Service was less than stellar. I got there at a little after 2:00 PM and my room was not ready, so I sat on their couch, booted up my laptop and began working. About 2:40, another person came in and asked if they could check in and they were told they could, but it would cost him an extra 30 bucks. He declined. I have checked in early at a lot of hotels and have never had to pay for it. When I did finally checkin, they were having computer problems and it took about 15 minutes to checkin because the guy at the desk had to do updates on both computers. Even though they still advertise a hot breakfast, don't count on much. They had a little basket of oatmeal, a few danishes, juice and coffee and the fridge was empty. Shoney and Waffle House are across the driveway and McDonald's is a half mile down the road. On this trip I ended up working as a mechanic on a truck, so my clothes got pretty dirty. Choice Hotels always have a laundry bag in the closet. No laundry bag here. Folded everything thing in a shirt. I asked for an late checkout and was told as long as I checked out before 2:00, I was good. I left the job at 1:25 and GPS said I would be there at 1:45. I75 traffic was only going 5mph and got there at 2:10. They tagged me for 30 bucks. Even though I had been calling the front desk every few minutes letting them know I was on my way and how bad traffic was. Having been a Choice Hotel member since 2005, I have checked out late on more than one occasion because of my job. I believe this is the first time I have been hit with the late fee. Did they have a right to? Absolutely. Did they have to, no. When I go back in a couple of months, I won't be staying here again. This location is perfect for where I have to go, so I will more than likely stay at the Holiday Inn right next door next trip (I'm a member there also). Sorry for the long post, but when I'm reading reviews, I like details.…
Needed a convenient location to highway hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were super comfortable. Near by gas stations, dinning and shopping. Perfect location. Our first stay and i would come again. We had a small hiccup upon arrival with our room but the staff corrcted it promptly and moved us to another room. The hot water was not at all very hot in the tub but extremely hot in the sink. But we arent finicky too much so we toughed it out. We here for sports tournaments and we would stay again.
Stayed overnight. Room was disappointing for a Comfort Inn. It was in need of some updating but served its purpose. Beds were comfortable, room had all the usual ammenities. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great with eggs, meat, waffles, etc. Would stay again.
The beds were very comfortable. Very quiet room! The Wifi worked very well, which was nice. Only issues we had were with the bathroom. Two lights were out and the shower squeals the whole time you use it! Also, the vent in the bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years! The bathroom door had piece coming off that was in need of some glue! Overall it was a good hotel and one we would use again.
The hub and I had a overnight stay. Close to the freeway, rooms clean, neat and comfortable. Front desk staff were polite and helpful. We didn't partake of the complimentary breakfast, so I cannot comment on it.
