As New Orleanian evacuees of Hurricane Ida, this stay at the Alpharetta Hampton Inn & Suites was the greatest stress reliever my family could have asked for. Check in was perfect, staff and personnel were accommodating and professional, and Manager Amber was an absolute treasure for providing area specific recommendations that made this stay flawless. I cannot recommend this property enough! Alpharetta is a gem just north of Atlanta and if it wasn’t for the expert recommendations by Manager Amber we would have spent most of our time sequestered in our room, although it was clean and spacious! There are countless restaurants within a ten minute drive, a couple movie theaters and dozens of shopping plazas. Self care won’t be a problem staying here either as there are quite a few AMAZING spas and salons to spruce yourself up for a night out on the town. The hotel is pet-friendly and has a spacious grassy knoll next door that our pups loved and the hotel even provided a post with doggy clean up bags to leave no excuse not to pick up after your pets! There’s even a nice dog park a ten minute or so drive away that our pups LOVED. Highly recommend and a 10/10 stay!…
We booked a 2 queen 1 bedroom suite. Stayed 3 nights for a tennis tournament. We got an amazing rate, and It was so spacious! I would stay here again. Breakfast was disappointing because of CoVID but at least the hotel had some grab and go selections.
Hotel needs major updating and cleaning stains on the carpet. I didn’t feel comfortable. The location was good again this hotel needs help. I need feel comfortable even sleeping I’m the bed. The lighting in the room was low, towels in the bathroom didn’t appear to be white anymore. Toilet was low water pressure and wouldn’t flush at times.
I arrived at 5PM and check in time is 4pm. I was told my room wasn’t ready. The rep explained that the room was being cleaned and would be ready in 10 more minutes. I explained that I had to be some where by 5:30 and wouldn’t be able to stay and wait for it to be cleaned. My niece had to go to their Public restroom to change clothes. She was not afforded the opportunity to style her hair and freshen up as she hoped. Making her uncomfortable. The rep did provide a goody bag for inconvenience. I arrive back (4 of us) at 10pm to finally check in and go to the actual room. Only to arrive and the room door is open. Not just unlocked but open. I go back down stairs and the rep explains that he was just informed by his supervisor that the room was out of order. I was then given a new room. I gather my party and we go down to the 3rd floor and the room has 1 bed. The reservation was for 2 beds as there were 4 people. I go back to the front desk and the Supervisor is there and explains that she made the decision to change the room due to TV being out. She then explains they are short staffed. I explained 1 bed would not work. Eventually after much discussion she offered me 2 separate rooms as that’s all they had left. She offered to comp only one room. I stated that I didn’t think that was adequate but if that’s all she could do that I wouldn’t argue. She then said the Manager could do more and that she had already informed the manager. I have left 2 messages with the manager over a weeks time and have not been contacted. I paid full price for bad service in an area least expected!!!…
Worth the stay, however my sister said she felt bugs bitting her on the bed. Ran out of towels when hotel was fully booked. And snacks were outdated. I liked my overall experience with employees. Hotel was nice.
