Four of us stayed in Sunset Beach Resort Condo B-1 (Carolina Blue) from May 1 to 11, 2017. This is a lovely first floor condo with three bedrooms and 2 baths with an open floor plan and views of the beach/ocean and the beautiful newly...More

the 3 bedroom B2 unit had fabulous views! The pool is small but nice and the tours off the pier beside the resort are great. B2 needs a few kitchen items, but I have been told that is being addressed. Quiet, peaceful, 2.3 miles south...More

There is a mini mart within walking distance of the condo, but the inventory is very limited. It probably takes ~ 15-20 minutes to get to a grocery. It seems to take longer since you can only go so fast in a golf cart (limited cars on the island) and there are many speed bumps on the road along the way. That being said, my family (4 adults, 2 kids) made most of our meals in the condo. It helped that we had 2 golf carts and many laps/hands to hold the bags- it's hard to transport all the groceries in a golf cart (no trunk)! We also went out for dinner and ice cream a few nights. I'd factor in 20-30 minutes to get to the heart of San Pedro where the majority of shopping and restaurants are located. There are many dining options closer to the condo as well.
