We really enjoyed our stay at Caye Reef. Our unit was on the 4th floor…and at times the stairs were a killer. When we go back…we would probably target the 2nd or 3rd floor. Based on the concrete construction, I don’t think you need to worry about noise from floors above. The kitchen was nicely equipped. Though we were just doing drinks and appetizers. I didn’t try to do any full meals. I would also call out their filtered water cooler. It offered filtered cold water…we used this heavily. I would recommend bringing a water bottle with you. The little pool downstairs was a fun gathering spot for the various guests. The ocean is across the street with unobstructed views. They do have a reserved section of the “beach” but the beaches on this island are less than spectacular. Very hard packed sand and the water is part of marina, restaurants…not anything I would call swim able. This isn’t just for this location…applies to pretty much all of the south side. Just level set your expectations! The management was very help with recommendations and suggestions for activities etc,

Everything was right about this place. It was a great location in proximity to all of the restaurants, excursions and street vendors. The AC was a huge perk, beds were comfortable, the amenities were perfect for a “go slow” vacation. The rooftop jacuzzi was a perfect way to wind down the day while watching the sun set over the ocean. Our host was amazing at making sure we had what we needed and being available. I wouldn’t change a thing. There was enough local vibe mixed with common comforts to make you feel like you weren’t just at home but also not missing some of the comforts of home. I would stay here again and I definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our time at Caye Reef. Danny, Bobbie and Marlene were friendly and welcoming, and really made our stay special. The condo was clean and comfortable, loved the artwork and the views from the balcony. The pool and rooftop hot tub were so nice. We would return here in a heartbeat!

Fantastic. Great location, clean apartment with towels, nice pool. Bikes came in handy and we’re included in cost. We either walked or biked everywhere. We brought our two kids - ages 11 and 14. Interesting island.

We’ve stayed at CayeReef a handful of times, and have never left disappointed. The gang is always super helpful and easy going, we were traveling with our toddler daughter who does naptime around lunch, they let us check into our room early and had the pack&play ready to go which parents of littles understand is such a huge relief! Our group rented our 3 rooms, and no issues were had across any of them. The large living area is so nice to have, as well as the full kitchen. Such a nice location being near the split and everything is easily walkable, though they do have bikes you can use or are happy to call a taxi for you if needed! We loved the large step/shallow area of the pool to allow our daughter to play. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to somehow offer a little shade in the pool/lounge chairs but I know with the setup that isn’t very easily done

We loved our stay at Caye Reef. We had 12 friends/ family in 4 of the rooms and we'd all stay there again. Good a/c & wifi. Close to everything you need. Pool and rooftop jacuzzi were great. The staff was very helpful and we loved that they had a lot of bikes for us to ride plus 2 paddleboards.

We chose to stay here for many reasons. The location is perfect, the sights, the smells, and the view. Sitting on your porch and looking out over the street watching people stroll by, smelling the grilled lobster below, and seeing the birds fly over in the beautiful sky above. My favorite spot in the world.

We were welcomed by Danny and Bobby who couldn't have been more helpful accommodating our early check-in. They have a wealth of local knowledge and pointed us in the right direction for the best eateries and even arranged some Mayan herbal remedies for my friends cold. The apartment is well located on the front and has amazing views, particularly from the rooftop hot tub at sunset. Great pool. All very clean. Well equipped. Will definitely be back.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The condo was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We ordered groceries online before leaving home and the beer was waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived—a great touch. The location is ideal, as you can easily walk to tons of great bars and restaurants, including the Lazy Lizard at the Split. We also enjoyed the pool, the little beach out front, and the views from the rooftop hot tub! We hope to return soon.

This was our second visit to caye caulker, and I’m sad we didn’t stay here last time! The location is perfect, right on a main corner, close to shops, the split, and restaurants. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well stocked. The fact that water was provided was very nice. The roof top hot tub made a perfect spot to watch the sunset every night. There’s a small beach right across the road with chairs for guests to use. The bikes and paddle boards were a wonderful bonus! I would stay here again in a heartbeat, really perfect for anyone to enjoy!
