We stayed in cabin #1 and it was the perfect suite. It had a water cooler, air con, hammock, whole bean coffee beans & bikes for the full duration of our stay. Location is perfect, on the water, not far from “downtown” Caue Caulker but rather in the “quiet” zone which was ideal for quiet sleeps. The caban was very clean and well-stocked. We were picked up at the water taxi & dropped off at the muni airport. The morning cafe was exactly what we needed: croissants & espresso! Shae & Kari are absolute sweethearts. Juan & Emory were very helpful. If you’re lucky, you might meet Pirate Jay! Thank you! We will be back!

I must admit, I was grumpy & tired from traveling from the Cayo district to Ambergris Caye, or more specifically San Pedro. The previous day I experienced an epic snorkel adventure to the Great Blue Hole, my whole body was a bit sore. Arriving at the office mid-day, I was informed that I had been upgraded to a first floor ocean front Cabana. Generally my #1 rule for staying anywhere is never stay below people, has I'm sensitive to noise above, and while I did initially purchase a second fl room, after trying out a night I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was even with persons above. The next day I spoke with Kari the owner whom was more than accommodating and friendly, just like the rest of her staff in which they will go out of there way to pick up any groceries or accommodations that one may need. The newly opened cafe offered a place for myself to enjoy a good coffee and conversation with the baristas one of which was Kari's daughter. My whole ethos for my trip to Belize was to seek the real, and at Colinda Cabanas I found it, that and what I would call a second family: my Belizean-Canadian family. If you're in search of the real...come here.

I could not have been more pleased by our accommodations at Colinda Cabanas. Our unit was clean, comfortable, well-equipped. The units were well placed, spaced far enough apart to give the feeling of privacy. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The location was optimal; a perfect distance (an easy stroll or quick bike ride) from the island's main drag. Arriving back at Colinda Cabanas from a sun-soaked outing, one immediately encounters a cool breeze under the shade of coconut palms. I had hoped for a relaxing getaway and Colinda Cabanas certainly did the trick. I'd not only recommend it, I'd happily return - and hope to, soon!

Still one of the best vacation spots in the world. The beach and dock are peaceful spots to lounge and enjoy the sounds of the sea. The cabanas are spotless and provide the perfect place to chill and call home for as long as possible. Kari and her staff know how to treat their guests and offer bikes to cruise around the charming island. We cannot wait to return!

My 17 year old daughter and I stayed in one of the oceanfront rooms with a kitchen for a week and absolutely loved it! The kitchen had everything we needed, even a blender and coffee grinder and coffee maker. We had bikes to use everyday as well as snorkel equipment and kayaks. It was really nice having a 5 gallon jug of water in the room so we didn't have to worry about buying water and wasting the bottles. The area is a little bit south of the hubub of town and very quiet. Having the option of some groceries upon arrival was a nice treat. Thank you Kari for a wonderful stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Colinda Cabanas for 8 nights, and our expectations were exceeded tenfold! Where do I begin? Our room was absolutely perfect: extremely clean, excellent wifi, AC units were powerful, (there were 2 in the Hobbit house) and we had everything we needed + more! The location is amazing- we loved being far enough away from the split to enjoy our quiet serene mornings on the pier, but it was still walkable to everywhere on the island (one of the reasons we fell in love with Caye Caulker) AND our room came with two bikes which was such a great feat for convenient Island traveling and going up to the north side of the island. We fell in love with the pier on the property where we laid out, read books, and bird watched on the days we just felt like hanging around the cabanas. It was such a nice home base. I’d be remiss if I didn’t give a major shoutout to what made this experience above and beyond: the staff!! They are so accommodating and friendly, and they have amazing recommendations for food and activities on the island and in Belize. Juan was on the property throughout the day and was always available to help us with food recommendations and other needs we had, whether it was laundry or an ice cold drink. He along with the other staff on the property are so friendly and a joy to see around! Kari and Shea run the coffee bar in the mornings and are the absolute BEST! Loved chatting with them in the mornings. Incredible service, incredible coffee/muffins +croissants, incredible people. Colinda Cabanas is the BEST!! We will be back :)

Wonderful, accommodating staff. They booked our snorkeling trip and we can’t say enough good things about that. Simple but comfortable cabana—we were in No 9. Bed was perfect, a/c was appreciated. It was great that coffee was provided but the little coffee shop was a treat!

We had our wedding at Colinda Cabanas and brought family and friends with us. We could not make a better choice. We had a perfect day and everything was perfectly organised and the place was decorated with a lot of lovely details. The place is really quiet and you get bikes for easily reach everything in the island. The rooms have everything you need for your go slow life on the island. If you like your fridge gets stocked with what you like before you arrive. The pier is the best on the island I guess. Kari, Juan, Shai and all the others are by the way the best, lovliest staff you can get on the island. If we get back to Caye Caulker we will for sure stay at Colinda Cabanas again, no question. Thank you for all you did for us! We love you guys! 🫶

Everything about Colinda Cabanas was spot on! Even before we got there, Kari reached out to see if we wanted a few groceries stocked beforehand (we did!) What a thoughtful touch! Juan was there to greet us and show us around. He was also our go to when we had questions - including what rum to buy ;-) Kari and Shay create a fun, relaxing atmosphere. They just re-opened a sweet on-site coffee bar with baked goods. A great way to start the day and get the scoop on local goings on. Outside there is nice palapa and hammocks for resting in the afternoon breeze. Everything on Caye Caulker is an easy walk away. We went to a different restaurant every night. Great food!! Some favorites: Reina's (the curry - yummm), Island Magic (live music), Pasta per Caso (make res!), Suggestion Gourmet (jungle setting), Salty's, Bambooze, La Cubana (Malibu Sunset). Took Carlos' all-day snorkeling cruise - best time ever! So much to see, included lunch and free rum punch for the cruise home. We stayed 6 nights in #1. Would definitely choose this unit again! Full size fridge, microwave and stove/oven. Plenty of space for all of us. We'll be back!
