My wife and I stayed there for a week right after Christmas. The facility, the hotel staff, everything about this little hotel is simply awesome! No other hotel on this island comes anywhere close to the quality. And the bedding? Particularly remarkable! Everything you expect in a stateside hotel and more. From the homemade yogurt and granola to the spectacular...

So a little birdy told me to buy a drink and they wouldn't mind me swimming in the ocean right there. So I did. Almost every day of our trip. Great location. Liz is awesome and so genuine and kind. The male bartender Gerald? was friendly. Great looking property and awesome staff. Thanks for being our "home" swim and beer...

Hard to go wrong at the Iguana Reef Inn. Friendly knowledgeable staff with an owner that's there to help if needed. Most likely the best kept and beautiful grounds of all hotels on Caye Caulker. Great beach and swimming area with a beautiful pool area waiting for you after a salt water swim. The owner is investing in new king...

This place was above and beyond expectations! The staff was incredible and the owner, Eric, took us in like one of his own as soon as we got there. The beds were clean, comfortable and the showers had hot and cold water which was nice. Great location with the best sunset views on the island. I attended a wedding here...

I was at Iguana Reef in last week. I enjoyed spending my day on their beach with beautiful views along with some snorkeling. We were able to walk down the street to the Lazy Lizard for some fish tacos and an icy beverage. We enjoyed how quiet and secluded the little beach was. Eric showed us around the property, educating...

The Iguana Reef Inn is a beautiful property with more to offer than just a place to stay. You can enjoy the seahorse reserve, there is a bar on site, watch pelicans and frigates snack on sardines, and mingle with the locals and ex-pats who frequent the property. The hotel staff is super accommodating, the pool is pristine, and if...

We didn't stay here overnight but we had a lovely morning watching the sea horses in the special reserve just in front of the hotel. The owner is clearly a decent, careing, chap. We also saw a wedding party there yesterday. It looked idyllic

Took the family of six for Thanksgiving week. We had three rooms including the penthouse. By "American" standards I would call this a 3-star hotel, but for Belize it was the Ritz! The staff was great and friendly, like everyone we met on the island. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The penthouse became our family gathering place and was...

We had a very pleasant stay at the Iguana Reef Inn. Our bedroom was spacious and nicely decorated (and had a mini fridge), with a nice terrace, and the bathroom had a good shower and all required amenities. The inn itself was a nice, large house composed of various buildings. The pool was more a plunge pool than a swimming...

Thank you so much for your kind review. Most of Caye Caulker do not have a beach to swim on. Everyone normally goes to the split for that but we are working on adding some sand and cleaning the beach area , we are gradually adding smooth rocks and sand to not drastically damage the ecosystem that is around the...

This hotel is beautiful, the beds are extremely comfortable, the grounds are gorgeous. So here is my BUT! Be EXTREMELY careful around the pool. The tiles are very slippery and there is an extreme risk of falls, I would not let children or elderly anywhere near the pool. If this hotel were in the US they would have been sued...

Hello, Thank you for choosing us. We are truly sorry for your incident at the pool area. Even though the tiles are for exterior areas especially the pool, we understand that it can get slippery if there is not enough friction. We took your accident seriously and we are spraying a substance that enhances the friction to avoid future falls....

Iguana Reef Inn is located on the water's edge, in a secluded location in the heart of a charming village. The Inn offers decidedly upscale accommodations and the enchantment of the "Old Caribbean" island lifestyle. Relax on the verandah of one of the Inn's richly textured rooms or poolside and settle into the unhurried pace of the island.
