Gorgeous beach. Very quaint community. I love 9ve the fact that everyone speaks English. We did a horse drawn carriage tour of Belize city, it was a very relaxed way to sight see. Drivers are a little crazy. Similar in atmosphere to and look to Nassau Bahamas. Very friendly people, beautiful water. Amazing experience.

Heidi the manager was great to work with and we loved our hut. It's small but it had a/c and no tv - which we loved. For the price it's more than perfect. We'd go back here in a heartbeat. Oh and you get free bikes which is really nice to explore the island with!

I spent a week here. It was clean, the staff was friendly. The sunrise is stunning! The room locked up well, location was also convenient. The water pressure was better after rain, but I think that is part of the experience. Get an ocean facing room for the best breeze, that is my one wish.

We rented a studio suite, it was supplied with basic kitchen setup. Bikes came with room, making touring easy. Just 10 min walk to water taxi or airport. Downtown is a easy, enjoyable walk. Would have welcomed a table and chairs in room and no sand flies at front door. Not luxury, but comfortable.

Stayed for eight days at the Barefoot and had a great time. The entire experience was great. Stayed in the "Parrot's Perch" and plan on doing so again soon. This was my second visit to the island. First trip was good and this was just as good and at a lower price. But - no sacrifice in any department. Very...

We stayed here for three nights and it was a nice place to stay by the ocean. It's a benefit to have a private bathroom. There is a private (for Barefoot Beach guests only) dock with five hammocks next to the ocean, which were great to relax in the day after a lot of travel. We slept in our sleeping...

Stayed in the studio unit, it was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed the bikes included and liked being away from the busy part of town. The room was comfortable, had all we needed to enjoy our stay: a kitchenette, AC and cable TV (sounds silly but 2 months of traveling it was nice to have to relax...

Value for money in the little huts with decent bathrooms, bed and AC. Beautiful view and hammocks for guest use. Property situated a little further down from the main strip so bikes were really convenient. However I found Susan to be quite confrontational/ unwelcoming from the beginning and quickly became defensive when asked about the fees if the bike was...

I stayed in one of the little huts around the back, and it was absolutely perfect -- they're very small, but it was just what I needed. Everyone at Barefoot Beach was lovely, and my room was super clean and comfortable. The hammocks on the pier are probably my favorite place in the entire universe. I loved having the bikes...

Barefoot Beach Resort is toward the left end of town as one faces the Caribbean. This is the nicer, less crowded end of town and we would encourage anyone to select lodging here or even further to the left (south?). Our two rooms were fully furnished. They looked directly to the sea. We enjoyed the sea breeze and were not...
