Upon arrival there were no rooms ready so we had to wait three hours for our room. The view from our room was amazing but the noise was way too much. The construction was band, but stopped at 6ish. It was the large groups of backpackers who decided that our front porch would be a great place to have a...

A very pretty hotel right on the sand. Walk out to the beach which is right in front. Beautiful peaceful island. Can't wait to be back next month. Want to plan an annual visit. This place feels like a homey little vacation cottage. Love the tropical paint colors.

No wifi in the room but available on the balcony. We made some great friends during our stay and on an island with no cars and snorkeling right off the beach;what else can you ask for. http://www.wegortw.com/the-perfect-cheap-vacation-spot/

Just stayed at The Tropics Hotel and we had a great time. The rooms were great, no big extras but that is not what I look for in hotels not really a big foo foo kind of guy. The rooms were clean and the AC worked great so great in my book. If they had a pool that would of...

(5 days). there was a store right next door to get anything you need. Hang a left to go to the end of dock where...

We stayed here for three days at the beginning of our trip and are going back for a few more at the end. It is basic and clean, rooms are very spacious and location is great. What makes is stand out is the staff. Eugene helped us with a snorkeling/fishing tour and with taxi and bus connections. Made our stay...

Great value for the money and open view of beach. The rooms are basic but good size and comfortable. The upper rooms have a large deck across the front. The only negative is the noise from the disco next door. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the location was nice. Free wifi and a nice place to sit in front of hotel and enjoy the beach. The restaurant was fair priced and the food was good. I will defiantly stay there again

We stayed here in December 2012, in a 1 bedroom with 2 beds and 1 bath, upper level at the front with a view of the ocean. Good location right in the middle of town but the big problem was the next door bar going until after 4:00 am into the morning with a heavy bass beat that reverberated throughout...

“Make sure you let them know how long you are staying and reserve ahead of time or they will move you to keep other reservations in order. I hear one couple complain they got moved and since we paid daily, we got moved too but they kept us on the top floor so we didn't mind one bit.”

“The back rooms on the upper level away from the front of the hotel might be quieter at night but also they are not as public and may be more prone to day time robbery.”

“If you want to stay up after 10pm, get a room in the back; less people will be annoyed by your noise. Rooms #3 and #7 face the stairs which may have more traffic.”
