A spectacular property 35 miles from Belize City in the Turneffe Atol. The staff was incredible from start to finish and made our trip exceptional. My companion was new to fly fishing and your staff made us comfortable and our guide put us on tons of Bonefish. It was a perfect place for me to fish and the two of us relax and unwind. We will absolutely return.
The resort exit all my expectations. The food was fantastic. Diving was phenomenal. Lots of big animals. Sharks, dolphins, eagle rays, turtles, large schools of fish. The blue whole trip was mine blowing. To see stalactites at 130 feet down with sharks swimming around was the best. Back at the resort,The food was excellent and the staff was unbelievable
6:30 am coffee 7am breakfast 8am- Amazing adventures! Snorkeling, diving, fishing, kayaking, and lots of eating. By 8pm we were ready for bed. What a trip. They taught us how to do everything to have a great experience. The staff really does bend over backwards to make it special.
great location if you are active and enjoy diving ,snorkeling or fishing great service with the same waitress for the full trip so she knows your needs beautiful room with personal veranda on the beach very good meals with a belizian flair
I went to TIR for fly fishing and it did not disappoint. Bone fish are plentiful, as are permit (though good luck hooking one) and tarpon are in the deeper channels though not the flats. The accommodations were simply and comfortable, the food quite good and evening happy hour was a great time to meet and mingle with other guests -- and that was part of the charm. I almost always say I want to return to places I enjoy, but in this case I mean that much more seriously than most. To be sure, TIR is not perfect. For those who want the ultimate Caribbean beach, it doesn't quite do the job. One other bugaboo. We brought our own bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary and there was a $25 corking fee. I get it -- they want to discourage bringing your own.
