Hospitality was superb; host was gracious; he helped to explain Belize history and culture; got a few cooking lessons when I asked and recipes to try back at home. Home cooked meals with local ingredients and Belize recipes were great. Accommodations rustic with coal oil lamps for electricity, but kind of romantic. Great path leading to falls on property. Since we booked months prior we were close to panic when we say the comment that the property was closed. Our hotel called ahead and found out it was open. We stayed three nights and first of all want to thank the caretaker/managers who are wonderful, Remigio and his wife Mara. The cabanas were built some 20 years ago, however...

I have just returned from the Pine Ridge Lodge. It is located in a beautiful part of the world, has two rivers running through it and is quite charming. The owner has closed the lodge to guests and it is for sale. There is information on the hotel's website.

We have just been at Pine Ridge Lodge. There are few odges on the area, and this was the cheapest one ( one of the others is the Blancaneaux Lodge, owned by Mr. Coppola.. and amazing place but we could not afford paying more than 300USD per night..)so it was our only option. They charged us USD 120 per night...

On behalf of the lodge I truly apologize for our short comings. As to the current prices, they have remained the same for a fair number of years and were contained in our email to you. I do not blame you feeling the lodge was too expensive but Belize's currency is tied to strong USA currency that makes Belize expensive...

A great place to stay without breaking the bank. The oil lamps were fun for the kids and gave the place a special charm. Our cottage was right on the creek and the water running over the rocks was very relaxing. Mr. Ray and his wife prepared home cooked meals that were delicious. Ray was very helpful in planning our trip...

We are so glad that we decided to make the trek up to Mtn. Pine Ridge and stay at Pine Ridge Lodge. We stayed in a creek-side cabin with a beautiful view of the Pine Woodlands. There are hot showers, oil lamps, and clean, comfortable rooms. There is a nice trail at the lodge and even more trail close by....

We were travelling through Belize and wanted to spend a few quiet days in unspoiled natural environment. And that's what we got. Our hut was the last one on a slight slope, a small river murmuring next to it, while we lay in our hammock or already in our bed, reading in the light of our torchlights. The hosts were...

We went by this lodge several times on our trip to the Cayo district and I was intrigued by it because it had a closed sign on it, along with a for sale sign. Our guide from San Antonio said even though they don't have electricity, the main reason they didn't have very many visitors was that they did not...

We were so excited when we arrived at PIne Ridge as this was only our second night in Belize and we had struggled for over an hour to reach the lodge via a very challenging road ( it is only about 12 miles from the main road but you cannot go any faster than a crawl, you will need at...

We stayed at Pine Lodge in splendid isolation - we were the only guests! We were treated very well by Re & his staff and ate their wonderful food. We learned such a lot about the local Mayan farming communities (& enjoyed their produce as Re's father's farm supplied most of the food we ate). We would go back though...
