We stopped at the Roaring River Golf Course on our way back to Belize City from San Ignacio. We saw the signs from the road and were curious to see the only golf course in Belize! When we arrived we stopped at the little club house and met the owner, Paul, and a few of his friends having a post...

I understand this is currently the only golf course in Belize. It is a nice nine hole course with most holes having two tees for 18 holes. There are some ponds with small crocodiles basking Int the sun. The golf is complimentary when you stay in one of the cabins for accommodation. The accom, is first class. TV, A/c, very...

Rooms were comfy and quiet with good AC (a must in May, if you ask me). Golf is included as a part of the package. Supper was excellent, (have the Cajun shrimp) with good company. The proprietor, Paul, is an excellent host, with a very laid back, no worries attitude. Wear your sunscreen while playing, and be prepared for an...

Nature every corner, peaceful, close to san Ignacio, safety was on top of my list since I was going alone and I have to mention this that it was very safe, friendly staff, fully furnished studio apartment room with wifi, novels, tv, microwave, mini fridge, view from balcony is like you are in jungle book. Perfect for get-togethers with family,...

We heard of a great place to eat, arrived without reservations and crashed a British embassy dinner. Despite the language differences, Paul is from So. Africa we're American (lol), the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well-fed. Will definitely call first next visit. BYW, there's a nine-foot croc in the pond near the driveway!...

This is a great little hotel outside of Belmopan. The hotel has 4 or 5 cabins, a restaurant, a golf course, a snack shop and plenty of peace and quiet. The cabins are comfortable and each overlook the river. This is the only 18 hole golf course on the mainland in Belize. I'm not much of a golfer, but I...

Just stayed and had a business dinner there and then breakfast, the absolute best part of my 3 country trip was with Paul and his family. Food and service was great. I will return for vacation if possible.

This is a hidden gem in Belmopan, Belize. The owners and staff made me feel like I was part of their extended family. The food was excellent, the service was incredible, and the rooms were extremely comfortable. The river running behind the cottages and restaurant is very peaceful and relaxing. The ruins are close by and the golf course very...

We stopped in for several days of rest after a red-eye flight from Seattle. It was nice and quiet, good food, and friendly staff. We took in a few holes of golf. I didn't do too bad for my first time out. If you get a chance, check out their cool cave. Truely enjoyed our stay and will try to...

If you are coming to Belmopan for business there is not better place to stay than at the Roaring River Golf Course Resort. Belmopan has no comparable options and the Resort is beautifully located in a scenic area that is just a ten minute drive from the city centre. I stayed here for two months in February and March 2011...
